Classic Brazil II. Surely if any country deserves to have two teams of classic players, it's that one. There are probably enough players on this thread to make a squad like that.
Hi Beasley17. I made a second Classic Brazil squad because I got tired of players like Socrates and Bebeto never getting into the team over Pele and Tostao, and because I wanted to give a "home" to the many unemployed Classic Brazillian players knocking around on this thread and in the PES shop. I also thought it might be fun to combine the defence and attack from Brazil '94 with the midfield from '82.
It is.
The original Classic Brazil is now basically a composite of the 1958, 62 and 70 World Cup winning teams, with some 1950s players thrown in. The '82-'94 panel is copied over a club team, so it has 30 members, including some 1930s legends (and a couple of 1970s players). The line-ups are as follows:
Classic Brazil:
Felix, Gilmar; Piazza, Brito,
Bellini, Carlos Alberto, Everaldo, Djalma Santos, Nilton Santos, Clodoaldo, Gerson,
Zito, Didi, Rivelino,
Zagallo,
Jair; Pele, Jairzinho, Tostao, Zizinho, Garincha, Ademir,
Vava.
Classic Brazil 1982-'94 (featuring 1930s legends):
Taffarel, Leao; Luiz Pereira, Julio Cesar, Junior, Leonardo, Mozer, Domingos De Guia,
Jorginho,
Branco,
Aldair, Oscar, Leandro, Josimar; Dunga, Falcao, Socrates, Zico,
Mauro Silva, Toninho Cerezo,
Dirceu,
Eder, Rai; Bebeto, Romario, Leonidas da Silva, Careca, Edmundo, Muller, Friedenreich.
Most of the players are either already in the game or are posted in this thread. Those in italics, I found on
this excellent site (scroll down a few posts to find the index).
Josimar I made myself because I thought it was a cool name
EDIT: Now that I see it all written down, maybe
Classic Brazil up to 1970 and
Classic Brazil since 1970 would make more sense
