The Italy Spain penalty shoot-out was very low scoring, only 3 goals out of 12!

But I really didn't deserve it. I had match ball but Fad missed and that the punishment came. Diouf scored classic goal for me,while Finland goal is real masterpiece. Litmanen centered the ball Kollka made head-to head- pass for Forsell and he scored. It's just my fault. I could have attacked whole second half,but no... I must play defensively. Mickey fuxxx really showed his quality of a manager in this cup,but we'll see can his guys beat Denmark in quarters.

Portugal really tried to beat Northern Ireland here and eventually he did it. In extratime,though. Just one defense mistake(it's a hell of a defense) made Portugal contestant of quarters and N.Ireland out. There were lot of chances,good opportunities,more of them for Portugal. So ,to conclude,Portugal is in the quarters where they will play Australia. Northern's and fastcow proved that Northern Ireland is a serious opponent,but this is enough.

I can claim that this was THE BEST MATCH ON THE CUP so far!!! It was brilliant!!! Fast and attacking play,great chances good players,excellent goalkeepers...Sincerely,goalies made this match so good with their saves. I think I saw ball in the net 10 times in this match. It could easily be 5-5. But goalies made it to penalties. There Babngida was the tragic guy. He missed the whole goal and it was what decided the match.

When Desailly got red card(26')I really thought England is going to win,but I was wrong. England had so many good chances,Beckham hit the bar from freekick,Vassel missed from 5 meters... When French scored a goal ball just wouldn't go in. Trezeguet shot,James punched ball,Wiltord shot ball hit the post,again Trezeguet James punched the ball and finally Henry with a dive header scored and all the English dreams were gone. It's hell of a schedule so France will face Spain in quarters.

Australia won another game and now is so self confident that they can win anyobody. Fantastic play by Portugal still wasn't enough. Australia third time in a row won with 1:0. Like in eight finals Kewell was the golden guy who scored a goal.
Portugal had his first chance in 20' minut but Joao Pinto hit the post instead of scoring a goal. Five minutes later Figo centered the ball and Pinto hit the bar. Incredible. There were a lot of good opportunities for Portugal but Australia scored a goal
after Lazaridis centerkick the ball and Kewell made great header. Portugal had luck in draw maybe,but Australia and gangsta9 proved that they should be considered serious. Can they maybe win the cup? We'll see.

I don't know how to start. Finland showed the best game in their history. Scandinavian quarter final was with a lot of goals. Finland took the lead when Kollka hit a great shot to score pretty much classic goals. All the goals were classic,except the second Finland's
which Litmanen scored with a scissors kick. Forsell was assister here. After sixty five minutes Finland had three goals lead and it was all solved. Denmark got back in the game for a minute when Tomasson scored a goal. Forsell scored another goal after that. To conlude Finland just hammered Denmark
and will play Australia in the semi's.

Argentina won against Turkey,against all expectations. I'm kidding. It was expected result,although Turkey could make a little more effort in this game. I guess they were tired after the match with Paraguay. Ortega made great shot,but Turkey's keeper Rustu punched it in 44'.
Nothing special didn't happened in the second half,except that goal. Claudio Lopez made a shot and Rusty punched the ball,but Crespo was in place and scored a goal. Argentina will play winner of Spain-France match in semi finals. It will sure be another great match to watch.
