In WE8 does the game stop for throw ins??Because if it stops it ruins any chance of counter attack...

Sonic Circle: There are 3 main methods you can use to play imported and patched games on your PAL PS2.
1. Chip your PS2 (illegal to do but we can talk about it here).
2. Use a Flip Top Lid.
3. Use a Slide Card.

Im sorry I should've been more specific... on PES, PES2, PES3, WE7I. One of the few gripes I've had with the game.

The way Mark was talking earlier there were more. Maybe there is?

Anyway a few answers.

Free kicks are cool. You press SELECT to put another man by the ball. Press again and he will go the other side. Hold L1 while he is there and he'll take it.

I can't really get the hang of throw ins. You now move the thrower and not the receiver. I find it hard for the receivers to run into space.

Fast players really are fast. In my first game (England vs Germany), the ball broke to Owen, i did a quick step over half way into their half, knocked the ball to the left of the defender and I was gone. No way was anyone catching me. I love it how they've improved this with fast players. It reminded me so much of Owens goal against Argentina...except I didnt score

On free kicks and throw ins play does stop. I was hoping it would carry on for counter attacks but it doesnt

Sliding tackles have improved loads. If you get the ball, you're not penalised

Man, i'm so clever I haven't played the game and I can already tell you that their is no power-bar for pens . But they have made Figo do the stutter run-up before hitting the ball for pens.

what about the finishing on 1-on-1s. Does every player just blast it or do they pass it in nicely (e.g. henry curling it along the ground in the far corner)

I was forget this question.... How it will be with the Dutch national team...
Ofcourse wrong players... but also no look a likes? Is it again possible to drop players from leagues in Nationals teams?
