Here's a partial quote from the first page of this thread, to save a lot of space

Here is another method to install the patch.
1. Create an iso file of the game
2. Optional: Apply other patches as you wish (Fernado's translation patch - no brainer)
3. Extract the files to a temporary directory using isobuster.
4. Right-click the ISO folderin isobuster and save the relative file list to the esam directory as in step 3.
5. Overwrite J_SOUND.AFS file in the directory
6. Open CDGEN_PS2 program and load the filelist (no lba option)
7. Change the VOLUME NAME TO "SLPM_660.09"
8. Generate the iso file and burn it at a slow speed or transfer it to your HD.

Ok.. 1st question is: of the 2 methods given, this is the only one that instructs how to incorporate additional patches. Does this mean that this is THE BEST method to use for more than 1 patch? (fernando + commentary)
And can someone please simply reword instructions 3, 4, 5 and 6?

It's a bit ambiguous for someone trying to figure these programs out.
In step 3: which files? The game iso, after patching with Fernando's?
In step 4: when I right click the iso folder in ISObuster - that's the red "iso" on the left column, right? I do this when the game iso is loaded? If so, what is the "relative file list?" If the "relative file list" is everything listed in the right column, and i'm supposed to save it to the same directory as in step 3, that sounds like doing step 3 again..?
In step 5: After someone clears up steps 3 and 4, how does this overwriting take place? I have all the necessary files. With dkz? ISObuster?
In step 6: I downloaded CDGENPS2 v2. I see there is an option to load ps2 files (*.ps2). Is this the file list that was mentioned in step 4?
If someone with good english and logic could help me with this, that'd be super

I've looked through tons of posts for references to file lists, and overwriting afs files (using dkz's "import files in the current folder" - i understand that one), etc.. I'm oh so close..
