Dr. Bob Kelso
Welcome back...
is how the players actually do play like they are that player.
Even when you go a player who is technically poorer than some of the other players on the game they as in real life have attirubutes other than their technical ability which allows them to still compete. They work harder or they are stronger for example.
I think it gets far too much stick as a game in general. Yes there are things about it that could be improved but overall it is a damn good game. Another thing I don't understand is how people say they preferred the other one. The other one reminded me a lot more of Fifa and it was too "arcadie". It didn't have the same feel to it or realism with the players. You could run from your own half and just bury it in the top bin as if it were something that was the done thing. Games could end up 7-7 or something stupid like that.
It may be slower it may be more deliberate but those are the characteristics which make it much more of a thinking mans game. You have to pass your way through your opponent or time your crosses.
None of the above applies when playing online though as there are too many cheats about.
