In what way is the gameplay crap? It seems much more realistic than Fifa's.
The worst i think is the shots as they could be improved. Also the trick stick being moved and no real use coming from the right analogue stick. I say these because lack of licenses or stadium don't really bother me as there is OF.

Nothing in the demo needs to change.
You need to change how you play.
This is a different game, it will take time to learn how to pass, shoot and dribble.

Yes it is difficult, I feel bad for all the noobs who scored goals by running down the wing and dropping a low pass by the penalty area for a lay in goal

hav to agree, i like the fact that you need to work for a goal or even a chance, think thst what most folk have eenjoyed about pes over the years, bar 08 where it was a bit easy and repetitive to score

I must agree... The gameplay is shit...
Also the overall graphics are shit, the animatics are okay, but the player models (not faces), stadiums, pitches, animations... most of the graphics are shit too...

What... My second game on the demo was a 5-0 drubbing of Real...

Face it, it's one of the worst PES games ever made and it shames the name that had so many amazing games before it!

And what difficulty were u playing on? There is no way you got a 5-0 win on top player if it was your second game.
My cousin won 7-0 on top player....or was it more?

^ No what I'm saying is the game has had a complete change. The defensive AI has improved and you get closed down a lot more. As many people have had to get used to the new game and saying shots are harder it's hard for me to believe that on his second game he would win 5-0 on top player where as most people on here got a 0-0 draw or 1-0 win on their second game.

The closing down is still pathetic, shot whistle into the back of the net and the game gives you far too much space, again as the closing down is poor! The movements of players around the pitch and the movements in general are terrible...

Urgh reading through threads of pathetic complaints gets so annoying, people nit pick at anything. Can anyone pass judgement on this game yet ? No it's not even out.
The way i see it is that Konami make this game every year, no PES game will ever be like PES5or6, which is good. I like the game to change every year i'll always love PES it has the spirit that FIFA will never have.
People year in year out complain about how easy it is to score and to run down the wing, cross and tap it in with no defender in sight. Truth is that those people actually rely on this one dimension style of playing. This demo looks like you need to pass wisely and use strategy more, passing, movement, ball physics with crossing, freekicks, corners is amazing the ball moves like it should. Someone complained about wind having an effect on ball movement how the fuck can you complain this is the most realistic game of football so far from the demo i've ever seen. It's great!
Longevity for a game that really is only supposed to last a year has great features.
Be a legend, Master League, League, Cups.
Be a legend and ML will last me totally fine.

Mann this is by far the best ever football game on the history of universe .. I loved it i play it all day .. the guy saying he won 5-0 doesnt have any clue waht he is talkign about its not fifa mind u .. in fifa demo i scored 9-2 at the first day of playing.
but as a nutral user i think PES still got some polishing work to do. no doubt its the most enjoyable game ever yet i found the animations are more like Pes 06 and i think they should upgrade it a bit to increase realism ... ya its true fifa player movements are more lifelike but i dont know why there is not much fun playing Fifa and the speed is crazu unrealistic and uncomfortable for a game,? in PES you have time and space to do a lot of things.
