I just don't understand- why do people want the game to be more heavy than responsive?
Pes 6 was responsiveness so why do people complain pes 2011 was better than 12?
Because PES6 was released like five years ago? Some people want a heavier game because the game being heavy should not necessarily mean that it should be less responsive; that is why, movement within the space, is so important, because it means that responsiveness is independent from the feel of the game, because the responsiveness of movement is determined by one button and the direction of movement is determined by another button (the very same way that the direction of passing is determined by one button, yet the power of passing is determined by another button: same principle applied to movement itself).
On the other hand, without movement within the space, the responsiveness of the game and the feel of the game are one thing, because the responsiveness of movement and the direction of movement are determined by the very same button; ask yourself, how would passing work if the same button was used in order to determine the direction of the pass + also determine the weight/responsiveness/timing of the pass?
Of course, the problem with such an outdated system, is that it cannot improve past a certain point, because the buttons are not capable of anything more. It just reaches the point where a new button is needed in order to implement new things, but instead, what Konami is doing is implementing more and more things into a button that does not have space for anything more.
In conclusion, you are stuck in the PES6 days, thinking that a responsive D-PAD video game will be good enough in year 2012; you are thinking about how the D-PAD was responsive, yet you are ignoring how the ANALOG could be just as responsive; different buttons require different concepts, the game simply doesn't feel as fresh as PES6 did in its day, because Konami and EA Sports are using the analog stick as if it was the d-pad.
