Eriol isn't registered at these forums here and I recommend you going over to evo-web and requesting information from there if you would like a useful response to your problem.

You can also easily replace the ball by yourself Dave. No need for fixes...
And PPF is only available for one language so their needs to be made another PPF for English commentary, but I dont understand; you already patched your game with AFP patch from X-Euro so why a PPF then???

oh, well i havent unlocked it yet, thats why the game works fine for me.

edit*- damn the 2nd ball is messed up, damn game freezes when you choose it, ihope the fix is coming soon. cuz this is a big blow the the game and patch.

guys i have a problem.

i'd like to patch my problem using AFP files provided on 1st page so i can have option of ENGLISH commentary. I really dont care about 2nd ball.

but the thing is...... in order to patch my game... since this will be my first ever patch and i'm a newbie.... i'm step by step following this guide: http://forum.pesinsight.com/showthread.php?t=3958&page=1&pp=10

and this one only mentions how to extract... patch PPF patches.

how do i do it?

i've manged to make a cdrip of my WE7i Jap DVD... that was the first step ;) but this one is even more complicated.

Jezus there is a whole readme delivered by this patch which explains everything step by step, and is by far the best readme I have ever seen!

sorry man... i found it.

tried to burn it with PPf format since i download both the APF version and PPF because this would be my first patch.

have ripped CD.... tried... followed steps.... burnt it but unfortunately it doesn't work. I never get to see the OPENING screen where it asks you to choose language.
after playstation 2 logo which is also lookin freaky.... it hangs up.

anyways thank for all the help and i guess i'll go try again.

nop. Before i get this ps2, my previous ps2 had a modchip as well but it would only let me play backup games of those in CD formats.... and if i wanted to play DVD games... i had to get a CD RIP to play. I'm pretty sure about this. I couldn't just burn a DVD formatted Ps2 game and play it on my old ps2.

anyways, Jag87, I left you a PM message yesterday i think.... i still haven't gotten reply.

ONE QUESTION! someone earlier in Evo-web forums said that APF version of this great patch CRASHED with NORMAL CDrip of DVD , NOT Pimp rip.

i ask.. can i patch my game with this... yesterday i managed to make a CDrip of My DVD WE7i Jap and it worked. It's not PIMP rip. I just followed Zygalski's guide. could i still patch it... or do i need pimp Cd rip to do it?? has anybody tried.

also this is much TOO COMPLICATED for computer Novices like me... but i'm learning ;)!

I hope i can finally patch soon.

Does burning speed REALLY matter that much? couldn't i burn with at least 12 or something... i can burn up to 40x but am advised to choose 4x.

If you burn at 40x, it promotes reading errors causing gameplay problems and slowdown in my own experience. Burn at 4x. P.S - im on MSN

mine is only 8kb? is that what's fucking me up?

Thats correct Size_J is meant to be really small nothing to worry.
Data_X should be really big, so just import the shit!! :)

its so easy to do man. I made my own image with a 0mb dummy and it still worked, so i can use it with no mod ps2.

Well for me, after about three matches, the game crashes. It crashes on the pre-match anthems and always the third match.
