Zyg I dunno what just happened mate. Zidane made that foul then everything froze and it said you quit the session. I think it was my connection though, I plugged the modem cable back into the PC to come on here and it wouldn't connect, I've had to restart...I think blueyonder may be upgrading our lines, its due around now. Sorry anyway mate.

A couple of good games we had anyway :D

I was right! Just done a adsl speedtest, I did it today and it said 768k. Now I get this:

Downstream 961 Kbps (120.1 KB/sec) 1037 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream 118 Kbps (14.8 KB/sec) 127 Kbps (inc. overheads)

wow, just had some great games with cloud1863.

first 2 were league games. 1-1 draw.... but his goal wasnt even a goal. it hit the post and then came out but the ref gave, great! then he won 4-2... bah, and again 3-1, bah. but both were good games. a final game was liverpool vs. man utd.... 7-4 to me... unbelieveable amount of goals, and god knows how many more chances.

A bit miffed by that though danny a little, cos it must 1mb than 768 surely? your download is too good to be that of 768. But for some reason you're uploading is suffering so yeah, you know, just as I thought you are getting poor upload dude. The second game I played against you last night, was virtually unplayable. Your downstream is fine. it's your upload 118 up, and only tranfersing data at 14kb/s compared to your down which is 5 or 6 times better. I think to be in the low 100s for up, there is bound to be a fair amount of lag. I have a feeling this is something we are just going to have to live with. Cant see a konami patch fixing this, perhaps just optimising/fixing the game's live code, but I think we won't get rid of lag completely.

No t1000, originally Blueyonder's service was 512 down, 128 up. They upgraded a few months ago to 768/128 for free. And yesterday they upgraded again to 1mb/128k for free.

The game I played when you hosted was basically unplayable too, worst i've experienced against anyone really :\ Most people when I host say it runs pretty well, it's only against you and a couple others I seem to have problems for some reason?

Hmm, strange then, could be a number of things i guess. Well I had a guy on played after you, when i hosted, I mean he was connecting with volleys outside the box, making last min tackles and all kinds of play that is only possible if the game is running smooth enough. So I dunno...that's kinda strange. Then again i was having issues with the connection like i said previously. Just hard to tell if its all back in working order.

But Danny, how bad was it? was it pretty much unplayable? I mean it looked as though you managed to keep pace to an extent. I've also played some that its been just impossible. I mean that second game I played against you, it just would barely run. Difficult trying to figure out why its so bad for some and not so for others, even though they have the connection that should be able to cope.

What i think may be the problem is possibly having a 1mb down and such a low amount up, is performing worse than those who have 512 down and 256 up. Ok, I am fed up with this, and I think I need to contact konami, there must be a contact number somewhere. Just basically want to know why performance is so poor!...I have a feeling they only included the online code very late, which is why they didnt announce live capability early, now as a result we have a piss poor online representation of pes which probably didnt even go through enough testing in the first place!.

Can people please check the status of other players before inviting them to play a match? It's quite annoying to see the invitation envelope on the pitch when you're in the middle of a tense match.

Right now, I'm trying to play my pesinsight live league matches so will be declining invites from anyone else. Thank you please.

Had a few good games with TomKK tonight. Not sure if he really meant to choose Charlton in the first match but he played well. I hosted all the matches so I guess the lag wasn't too bad? If it was, do let me know.

2. Zygalski (Bor. Dortmund) 0 - 1 TomKK (Arsenal)
3. Zygalski (Brazil) 1 - 0 TomKK (Italy) (Nesta sent off on 15 mins).
4. Zygalski (Real Madrid) 4 - 1 TomKK (AC Milan)
Fifth match was abandoned for some reason. It said you quit. Not sure what happened.

Good matches. Charlton was a mistake :) The 4-1 loss....hmmm, the keepers, they were awful in that match...The last match when i was leading 1-0, i got the pause message that you were changing something and the timer was running wild and then nothing. This has happend 3 times for me now. The timer runs when opponent is having a timeout or changing kicker. Didn't notice any lag, and i never quit, If i quit it will be in the first 5 min if the lag is bad. Like to play you again. The matches was really close and i have to say that the defence work i had in the 1-0 victory with arsenal was outstanding! ;) But i blame the keepers in the 4-1 defeat,,,Especially the ronaldo header and the owen goal...couldn't belive the owen goal!

Yeah, I thought it was a mistake - never thought anyone would intentionally choose to play as Charlton! :D
It's a shame that the game doesn't let you unselect the team. I was just trying to remember which goal the Owen was and just got it. Freaky one! I was going for a power strike and he just hit it softly and it rolled to your keeper who dived and palmed it into his own goal. Strange one. Look forward to the next matches. I had more shots in all the matches - just need to improve the quality of the chances and get better with accuracy. Thanks again :)

Had a game against this guy... I was the host, playing AC Milan against him (Inter) and I could say that was the tightest game I've ever played on Live! since I bought PES4. I lost to him by a goal (Silver goal, 2nd half... through penalty!) I was so unlucky but that was really worthwhile playing with him. Well, as for the name... I looked through this forum (the GamerTag lists) and there he is... a PESinsight forum member! Adrioba10... that was really fun. Hope to play with you again next time.:)

People, STOP sending me invites when I am in the middle of a match. It is very annoying. Wait till the person is Online or Available before inviting them. People who invite while I am playing may find themselves deleted from my friends list.

My ISP seems to be almost fine now. fellovertoday said that when he played me last night, it was the least lag he'd seen in a while. So I am ready to play league matches and friendlies. As long as invites are sent at the right time ;)

Yeah Zyg, thanks for the games today. Yeah lag was minimal. Not too bad, just a bit sketchy here and there, and i'm not making excuses, you took your chances well. Just had to push a little harder thats all. Yeah, i've noticed lami on fifa 2005 demo all day today!! LOL Lami dude...get a grip!!!

Yeah, i must admit some of the chances i thought you would put away. But i like to think i did do enough to put you off a little, just by keeping the pressure on, I think Liverpool has taken over as my choice of club team over Man U. Just haven't quite worked out what is the best attacking options though, need to find Baros/Cisse's strengths and play to them. But I find i can battle hard and put together some slick passing with them.

That game when I was netherlands, I got a little greedy in the second half, should have tried to protect my lead and play counter a bit more, but i played a high risk game, paid the price in the end. So when's this patch gonna make an apparence? any time soon? should be out any time now shouldnt't it?
