mine keeps crashing only now after i installed the new patch from konami i cant even get a game in now as it crashes just when its on loading, also before when i was able to play i got this screen at champions league semi final i started the game with 3 keepers in the first team the hole team around the center circle , man this is f****d up

Help anyone! I can't load my BAP save. It's in the 25th week, and as soon as a load it, Vista comes up with that message "PES 2009 has stopped working". I've tried putting the resolution down but that didn't help. I also can't install the patch, when I double click it, it says version mismatch or something.
The patch may not be compatible with Vista and once your game loads and immediately crashes the game, I believe it is too late to salvage. You have to drop the resolution earlier as the game data is already corrupted by the stage you've reached.

i can't even play with medium with the runtime error popping up when its loading into the match. only works with low with or without kitserver. no problems with resolutions. tested it out already. im using 9600pro anyway.
tried unlocking high using kitserver but it just hangs at the black screen with the blue stars loading at the bottom of the screen.
anyone can help? i really wna play this game and when it seems so smooth on low, i believe my pc should be able to handle medium.
i've v-sync, frame skipping unchecked.

Thats due to Konami creating a new render. Medium and High both use pixel shader 3, which your card cant do as it doesnt have the hardware for it. If you force it the game will fail to load.

For you people playing BAL, you can tell if your game is going to corrupt if your not patched. Watch the stick man in the BAL menu. The ani for it will go ultra high speed, indicating a crash/corruption is on the way.

but Konami allows me to select medium in the first place. and i've heard of ppl using 9600pro and using it to play in on medium settings. anyone?

still cant get an online game??? please help, i bought this game on release day and not once have i been able to get online. im on the pc version, patched up, opened all ports, enabled pes on firewall etc etc tried diff combinations of disabling firewall etc etc etc. still cant get online - ! an error has occured message is all i get.
Applied patch and was able to play in the match...
BAL problem happened again
crashes half way through second season when coming on as a second half sub...
Unfortunately you are not the only one... :/ i reinstalled PES2009 and aplyed the patch... started a new BAL game and at weak 24 my game crashed again.... :fplm: I played every single game since season begin and everything was going fine... im playing at 1280*960. Any idea of what might be the problem? Any real working patch coming out soon?

First post updated with the latest feedback from users in this thread regarding patch 1.1 failing to fix the BAL problem.
I have remained with the original retail version as I did not want to start BAL again and have no crashes at 1280x800 with auto save disabled and save game slots rotated for extra peace of mind.

Don Sweey i will lower my resolution to 1280x800 and see if it helps... thanks for the help.. Just hope Konami really fix this problem soon, cause everytime i restart my BAL campaign the game gets more and more boring...
I was "only" at week 39 and refused to restart after installing the patch and finding my games wouldn't load. I'm back on version 1.0 and in season two where everything remains fine on the resolution etc.
Pathetic by Konami as far as I'm concerned. The patch is largely useless and the fact it is incompatible with saves from the original version is a farce.
