well, playing PES09 and having got bored of BAL pretty quick i been playing a masterleague like i normally do, and tbh ive grown to like the game less and less as i play, i started getting really pissed off and today quit the program and decided to have a couple of game on PES6.
and bloody hell a few games with a new masterleague, fifa commentary a kit patch and extreme emotion crowd patch and i realised how much more fun this game is than 08 and 09, it may not be as realistic in some respects but i think it still beats the last two editions by far.
i just think its much the better game and that 08 and 09 have gone in the wrong direction. i would be quite happy playing nearly all aspects of PES6 merged with the great graphics of 09.
anyway my point, PES6 is just more fun and more addictive! its what i will be playing till next year.
just a point of view but what du you all think?
It is?? I just think it is Different, but Not worst or better.
Maybe it is more Realistic as at least the Size of the Pitch and the Pace of the Game is very accurate, you can actually feel that every game haves a Different Pace. But apart from that, it is hard to deny that The New PES has gone mainstream, that's easy to notice after mastering the "Long Ball" technique.
And just like in PES6 back in the PS2, I can actually score a Goal whenever I feel like it. I just time a Long Through Ball well, and just like that I'm one-on-one against the Keeper for the easy tap-in.
Yet, PES09 like all the PS2 versions beforehand, it shows Promise, if they can manage to implement proper Defensive Play, Defensive and Tactical Play that's actually adequate for grown ups.. the game would be much better.
I think the Old Directional (+) Buttons should be used Strictly for Tactics, we need to have the power to make our Team's choices, we should have the Power of Anticipating correctly or Incorrectly.
And by that I mean that if you know for sure that your opponent will use a certain Play against you, then we should have a Fixed Button for Anticipating against such Play.
Easy-to-use Responsive controls, something easy enough to give us the time to actually Think about How and When it should be used.
A Concept like this would change PES completely, it would have 2 Completely Different Aspects; the Tactical One arranged in the Old Directional Controls, and the ball-at-your-feet action arranged in the Usual controls.
PES is in need of a lot of depth, the game is enough to challenge young Teenagers, but it is too One-Dimensional to keep pleasing Veterans who have just Grown tired with the lack of promise.
Bottom Line??
PES6, it showed Potential.
PES09, it shows potential.
PES 2010, it will keep showing that Potential without actually taking the game there.
It's just business, New Fans to the series will be raving about PES09, Old fans of the series might have had enough.. truth is that between the Time when you bought your 1st copy of PES -to- the Time when you just Grow tired with the lack of Evolution, for those 4 or 5 years Konami are making business.
