thats what we are saying though, the game is more difficult as a whole not because there is more to learn and understand but because there is less control over your players.
That's exactly the problem, you put it perfectly with just a few words.
The game is harder because we barely have control over Our players off-the-ball movement. Most of the goals the Com scores against me are the product of a Corner, or a ridiculous Tackle I had nothing to do with.
I think it feels too Scripted, this is why it isn't as addictive as PES6. Because even though PES09 can be harder at times you just don't feel that involved in the game.
The General Opinion is that PES09 is harder and more realistic. But My opinion is that although different, it's just as easy.
I play it at the hardest level and the Long Through Ball never fails, One goal after the other.. Although whenever I score a Goal to go Ahead, the Com finds a way to level the scores straightaway. For some reason, whenever I go ahead, my Defenders stop defending.
It's so predictable now, and actually, sometimes I feel offended by the Lack of Depth offered by this game. I don't like How the Com dictates my Team's movement.
PES09 is a game made for the masses.. the Com dictates everything for you, whereas You only Pass, Shot, or Tackle. The game wants You to play with quick first-touch passes, and the rest is all about the R2 "pass and move".
You barely have to Think at all.
Uncompromising, straightforward and easy. It still is fun, but not as addictive, and the "Replay Value" isn't the same for me.
