fonchoruiz - No, it's not possible. It's so that people who have patched the PC version can see the extra teams they mod into the game, would also work on a modded console. But on a regular PS3/Xbox, we can't add more teams than are in the game by default, and we can't make leagues bigger/smaller. It's annoying and a shame, I know!

Here is the most probable results for most the ???? faces. These players at the very least look very similar to the pre-sets

Faceslot 435, hairslot 4510 - Samuel Kuffour - Ex Roma and Ajax player. Was in Pes 2008 and 2009 as a classic player. face and hair of pre-set is very simular to the man

Faceslot 645 - Robbie Brady - Some agree but plenty disagreement on this one too.

Faceslot - 1555, hairslot 5630 - Looks very, very similar to Rayo Vallecano wonder kid Bangoura aka LASS. Has been linked with a move to Real Madrid since 2011. Not just the face but the hair makes me think this is very much meant to be him

Faceslot 1575, hairslot 5650 - Looks a lot like ex-City player (from when they were more of a nothing club) Paulo Wanchope. Again both face and hair is convincing.

Faceslot 1593, Hairlslot 5668 - Jamie Langfield off of Aberdeen - had a pre-set back in 2010 when Aberdeen were in the game and he was one of their key players. This is definitely him.

Faceslot 1803, hairslot 5878 - I have assigned to Craig Bryson in my save. Looks somewhat like him but not as convincing as Langfield, Wanchope, Kuffor and the rest.

Faceslot 1810, Hairslot 5885 is definitely current Rangers player and ex-Scotland international Kevin Kyle. I am convinced this pre-set is either from when Hearts were fully licensed in 2010 or if he was part of the licensed Scottish national team when Konami put him in. It looks very, very like him.

Now for the -=free=- faces which are incomplete pre-set builds by Konami so you need to combine the pre-set face with a different licensed hairstyle. The following combos have given great results on my save....

Bradley Johnson : Face slot 1156 + Hair slot 4452

Marcos Alonso : Face slot 1460 + Hair slot 4605

I can double check the PES 2010 presets (got an EDIT.bin and w!LD@ 2010,
haha ;)) But great post, will rep if I can.

EDIT: Ok, Kevin Kyle isn't in PES2010 v1.1 or v1.6 (the earliest and latest DLC files, it seems)

If Kevin Kyle is not in PES 10 then he could have been from an earlier pes still. Anyway in the post above I am not necessarily saying it's them (except maybe langfield ha) I am saying it's very like them and it's convincing looking in game. It's worth assigning them anyway and judging for yourself. The pics are there in my thread for a preview too and also Alonso and Johnson previews on my twitter @ Roylaboy

Yeah, I don't think him not being in PES 10 is any indication as to whether the preset is him. I'm just doing some detective work!

Thanks for the info, mate!

Does this mean that the new edited/swapped teams will be in that 2nd South American League then in Become A Legend Mode?

I guess so. I get all my kicks out of editing the game so I don't actually play the game a lot to be 100% sure of this.

What I am only aware of is D2 league becomes a top flight for South America in BAL with all them fake teams in it.

A bit late to the party on this one, but in BAL the 2nd division becomes a top flight South American league, but it keeps all the teams from div 2.

I'm wondering if as someone else said the fake teams fill up the Copa Libertadores? Anyone played a South American ML or BAL to confirm this?

No, it's very rare that all-new presets are added in. I think it happened for one Japanese player in the Eredivisie with one of the first updates, but that's all.

sergiomp12, if you're finding these hidden players in the w!LD@ editor, the only way to see them in game is to move them to a team. Then they will appear in game as usual.

Yes i doing that. Lucio i put in Sao Paulo.

Diego Souza its not back after dlc 4.0! I have to put it finding him.

Also Gil from corinthians, he dissappear and i put in corinthians, before the DLC 4.0 he was in a france team.

Andre Santos dissappear after dlc 4.0, i put in gremio
Andre Luiz from nancy dissappear after dlc 4.0, i put in palmeiras

While playing 'regular' ML I had the impression there were some licensed South American teams in the Copa Libertadores (eg Penarol and Velez Sarsfield) that weren't in the actual game. I don't know what to make of it...

Hi Guys,

when using the Wild Editor V2.0 al the boots are not properly assigned after reimporting, is that correct ? I fear the Wild Editor can´t handle the Boot Slots after Update 3 and 4 ... Anyone else seen the Problem? I Came accross this issue by accident as i noticed most of the german national players now wear MIZUMI Boots whic is wrong ... i reloaded the unedited DATA.BIN and now all Boots are correct ...

This will only clear things up a bit, but I started a South American ML & BAL to see what happens & what teams appear.

First up in ML you have the Brazilian League & the PES League as the 2 first divisions & the WE League becomes the 2nd division to either one of those leagues. In BAL you have the Brazilian League & the WE League as the 2 1st divisions.

In both cases the teams & players are whatever you have edited them to be just as if you were playing a Euro one. In both again you have friendly matches against teams from the Other European teams section or against one of the four fake hidden teams (same ones as in Euro mode).

Copa Libertadores in both modes contains all the real teams from the Libertadores mode with real players. I did also notice CA Penarol who I don't think are in the game, but I think they have real players, couldn't check as you can't view the squads for these teams.

So the mystery still remains as to what the other fake teams are for, my guess is that possibly they were there in case Konami decided to add a 2013 Libertadores mode in a Data Pack like they did last year.

I would say it is safe to use them to create teams you can swap in or out or as 7oy suggested use them as extra create player slots, I would probably suggest making sure you leave 16 players in each squad to be on the safe side. Also remember always keep a back up ;)
