Be a Pro Update
I've adjusted a bit better to playing FIFA on PS4 now and have been banging the goals in with my pro. Still think the long sequence of no score bores was a bit weird but I've put that behind me now.
Getting picked for the national team still seems a bit random mind you, I scored one and set up the other in a 2-1 win over Mexico (friendly) on my debut for Scotland and have been left out of the squad ever since. That weird thing with being in the team for one game of a double header then completely left out of the other one is also still there. I was really hoping that would be gone and you'd be in or out of the team on merit.
Also, I was top scorer in the SPL and second top assister but POTY still went to Niall McGinn of Aberdeen and not a soul even had a sniff at me during the transfer window. A bit weird but not total nonsense so I wasn't too bothered. Well, kinda bothered. Just a wee bit maybe.
Finished second behind Celtic in the league and got papped out of the Champs League at the qualifying stage after being drawn against AC Milan! They won 1 - 0 at Ibrox and despite being under the cosh at the San Siro managed to score on the break via Ballotelli (hate that guy) to put the tie beyond reach. They were just too strong for us.
I petulantly put in a transfer request because I felt my talented young star belonged in the Champions League (and one season of the SPL is enough for most people) but Mr. McCoist turned it down and as I said no one seemed interested in me anyway. Meanwhile, possibly anticipating my departure, Mr. McCoist has bought about 6 strikers in the transfer window, none of which are any good. The money spent on those idiots lumped together could have bought me a half decent partner up front but I guess Ally believes in quantity rather than quality.
So it's the SPL again for me until January at least and into the Europa League with the first group game away to Norwich. Probably more our level at the moment anyway.
