The World Is Yours
Finally received my copy from Cdwow today.

Started a game with Arsenal, but it's still early days. I won my first 4 friendlies (including a 5 and 6-0 victory), and have signed...

Franck Ribery (3.7m now, another 13m later in installments. Seems to have settled in superbly, judging by the past few performances)

Mladen Krstajic (2.1m. Decent defensive cover)

Papa Bouba Diop (4.9m - Did very well for me on the Gold Demo, so decided to bring him in again)

Jean Makoun II (5.2m - Might spell the end for Mathieu Flamini)

I'm tracking Giorgio Chiellini and a number of goalkeepers, including Tim Wiese and Oscar Ustari, and I think that will be my summer shopping done.

AS Roma took Freddie Ljungberg off my hands for £6.8m.

I'll probably try to sell Alexandre Song, Manuel Almunia, Justin Hoyte, Mathieu Flamini and a couple of other fringe players, to gain the funds.

My Reading game is still going decently, was second after 5 games, with 2 wins and 3 draws, but unfortunately I've just lost two on the bounce, 2-1 to both Tottenham and Liverpool, but I'm still in the top six.

Brian Mcbride is a monster upfront, 6 goals and 3 assists in 7 starts.

Can't believe you bought Marlon King.

You made a huge mistake in selling Sissoko aswell...you could try getting Van Persie, shouldn't be overly difficult, but I'd need to know your finances to recommend a defender.

Is he that shit?

My funds are 7m on the spot. Looking for a CB. Maybe you know a gem?

I can't say I've played the game enough to know who the creators consider a gem, so I'll refrain from giving you any definite tips.

Sissoko is class in the game and Van Persie was absolutely brilliant for me in the demo.

Two possible signings could be either Senderos or Djourou, Wenger could be tempted to let one go.

Suazo  Had to criticise him after his debut performance in the Coppa Italia against Livorno. The signing also made Marco Borriello unhappy as he actually believed he had a chance of playing regularly for me. Idiot.

I think I might have made a mistake in signing him but I didn't want Juventus getting their grubby hands on him - particularly with Deschamps on the verge of getting sacked.

I'm in my third season now, I finished 11th last season which isn't bad considering the injuries I had and the fact Yakubu was near enough my only goal scorer (23 in 31), now I have abit of money to play with (5 million), I'm going to try and get in Europe. I bought Sturridge and Onuah (CB from City) in March last season, which didn't effect my budget this season (thank God), so hopefully with that 5 million I can buy a nice goal scoring attacking midfielder. I've tried....

Rochemback - Couldn't finish his dinner, so I moved him to DM.
Pires - Did quite good untill he got injured for 5 months. I've released him now.
Murphy - Got 5 goals, but nowhere near good neough to start. I've got him on a free this season for back-up.

I'm looking at Caradenas, but his demands are too much and I fear he's too young to be starting.

The one thing that ruins the game for Italian sides is the "you can only buy 1 non-EU player from abroad per season". Good luck trying to snap up South American talent

The one non-EU player thing is shite, but I will tell you this, get Ramon from Corinthians, young and considered an excellent/deffinite purchase by Valencia coach Miguel Albiol... Ramon should cost around 3-6/7m.

EDIT: He would be a good replacement for Kaka, saying as youve probably already got 40m for him anyway ;)

I can not stand that rule.

Does it apply in real life?

Has there been a new release of the FAKE.inc file yet to sort out the real names of the Jormans?

You mean £60m ;) Already signed a non-EU player - got Elano from Shakhtar Donetsk and he's done very well with an average rating of 7.44 - the same as Luis Jimenez and neither are even in my strongest eleven. Gourcuff and Seedorf (both over 7.55) are my first choice whilst Kaka hasn't done much for Chelsea.

Last I was aware, the rule in Italy was that at a specific point in time a count of non-EU players in each squad was taken and this amount became the limit to the number you could have in your team - if you had a lot then that was lucky and if you didn't then tough. Serie B clubs had a stricter ruling where they were limited to a specific number of non-EU players. I believe this is all still in place.
