how long did it take to do to update transfers? did you add any created players?

im going through old pes6 files now to find players we will need for the file, there really is a huge amount of variation of files on the web!!:w00t

I didn't create any new players :D but you'll be pleased to know the actual in game transfers didn't take too long at all, it just being the January transfer window.

Plus I've got some different teams on my file, (Which replace half of the German teams) so I didn't bother checking out the likes of Shamrock Rovers, since I wouldn't know the difference anyway! :D

"dedicated to editing PES6 for you people who dont do jack $hit for our hard work. Infact the only thing most of you people do do, is download the file when its ready to be played on." -craney

I think that's a little harsh Goalgerd. What does he want us to do, come suck his pre-pubescent balls after we give text kudos? If it aggravates him so, why does he do it? Because he wants the attention of having his name on it. If I took the time to update this stuff, I wouldn't bash people for asking me if or when I was going to update it, but then again what level minded college grad would? I've given Craney kudos weeks ago for doing the file and I HAVEN'T EVEN USED IT!!!

Huffffffffff, why complain then if you havent even atchually used it?. If you think what i said was that bad and causes a civil pesgaming war between us then i suggest you see people on ebay that atchually sell our files for money without even mentioning it to us the makers and editors. If you spent most of your time editing a game for a better gaming experience for yourself and others then you might feel somewhat the same way i do or did.

Listen dickhead your the only person who doesnt agree and understand with what i said and why i said it. If i had carried on editing without saying nothing of the sort everything would have been dandy for you. You may or may not know that other editors and makers have also expressed there negativites in the past, not once did i compare my file or announce that i am a developer on par with P&G either. It has always been my sole intention TO IMPROVE THE GAME FURTHER, i asked if i could use their file as a base and i thanked them and credited when i released my files. When have i atchually said you people owe me?, NEVER!, i expressed one small concern that contributed to my decision of not continuing editing PES6.

There's nothing more i can say about this, the ball is firmly in my court if your not happy with it go and play tiddlywinks.

Oh come on Craney91 and treydoggcd. Isn't it a time to calm down and agree your fight? Is this really the way you guys want to waste your energy? We all like to play pes and update it with possibilities given. Some guys like Pategato, Goalgerd and Craney does alot....more than some others like me who concentrates mostly on updating the finnish national team. :) The dedication is highly admirable. There is no question about that. I think that everyone who uses the files that have been created appreciate the work that has been done.

Well, you had a VW before, my advice is: go for lower mileage.

I don't know, my grandpa always said..."there's nothing like a ford," but he's only driven ford and chevrolet trucks...I'd go German, I think they're better overall at cars and this day in time better mileage can save hundreds per year.

Hey pategato!

goalgerd, if the cars are in the same condition, AND the same price ("all else being equal" goes the saying), go for the one with lower mileage. And if you're already familiar with VWs that sounds like the better option. Have you checked the "resale" value on both models (at "Kelly Blue Book" or a similar website) to make sure the price is reasonable?

And for the "fight", there's no need to get personal, treydoggcd... yes, Craney is updating P&G's option file, but he gives them full credit for their work, and he is doing his work because he enjoys the game and improving it--and he's understandably bothered when people post messages such as "why aren't the updates out yet?" He (and others who share their updates) is doing this in his spare time, and for free.

As long as everyone remembers why we're here, because we enjoy the PES games and more specifically all the time and effort people like pategato, goalgerd, and Craney put into the option files, to make the game even more enjoyable, then we won't get impatient with the time it takes to do a good update (which was what initially triggered the "fight"), and we won't get into the personal insults.

This is a community of people with the same interests (PES and WE), and we should all have respect for each other, even if we disagree.

So, I'm going to go play my Ultimate P&G OF, and I won't mind if the January transfers etc. aren't done for a while--I can do my own updates in the meantime if I want. That's the great thing about PES (at least until the most recent versions), it has so much flexibility for updating and editing.

So, I'll say "kudos" again to pategato, goalgerd, and Craney too, and for everyone else, I'd buy y'all a round of drinks if you were all here and talk about this weekend's football (soccer) matches, African Cup of Nations, etc.

have a great weekend!

Just to clarify my point about updates and transfers:

Since I'm in North America, I'm not able to use the OFs for PES6... so I don't have access to Craney's updates to the P&G Ultimate OF, or to other PES6-only OFs (such as this season's updates to Titch's British OF). And I know that the vast majority of the updates are for PES6, not WE:pES 2007. That's the price of not living in Europe. ;-)

And since each game isn't released here in the US until months after it's released in Europe, I'm used to having to wait to play the "current season" until the spring anyway. That's one reason I was so happy to see P&G's Ultimate OF last fall, it allows me to play "another season" without having to shell out money for the next game (PES 2008)!

After what I've read here and elsewhere about the lack of "editability" in PES 2008, I'll wait until PES 2009 comes out in the US a year from now, and by that time I'll probably change platforms as well to take advantage of the better graphics. (Haven't decided which one, but I have a year to think it over) And *then* I'll look for updated OFs, for PES 2009 ;-) But until then, I'm more than happy to use the OFs I already have!
