Hey pategato!
goalgerd, if the cars are in the same condition, AND the same price ("all else being equal" goes the saying), go for the one with lower mileage. And if you're already familiar with VWs that sounds like the better option. Have you checked the "resale" value on both models (at "Kelly Blue Book" or a similar website) to make sure the price is reasonable?
And for the "fight", there's no need to get personal, treydoggcd... yes, Craney is updating P&G's option file, but he gives them full credit for their work, and he is doing his work because he enjoys the game and improving it--and he's understandably bothered when people post messages such as "why aren't the updates out yet?" He (and others who share their updates) is doing this in his spare time, and for free.
As long as everyone remembers why we're here, because we enjoy the PES games and more specifically all the time and effort people like pategato, goalgerd, and Craney put into the option files, to make the game even more enjoyable, then we won't get impatient with the time it takes to do a good update (which was what initially triggered the "fight"), and we won't get into the personal insults.
This is a community of people with the same interests (PES and WE), and we should all have respect for each other, even if we disagree.
So, I'm going to go play my Ultimate P&G OF, and I won't mind if the January transfers etc. aren't done for a while--I can do my own updates in the meantime if I want. That's the great thing about PES (at least until the most recent versions), it has so much flexibility for updating and editing.
So, I'll say "kudos" again to pategato, goalgerd, and Craney too, and for everyone else, I'd buy y'all a round of drinks if you were all here and talk about this weekend's football (soccer) matches, African Cup of Nations, etc.
have a great weekend!
