I cant get the option file to work on the PS3. I have downloaded the file "BESLES-54203504553364F5054.PSV" via the signature link for PES6. I have copied an existing basic option file form the PS3 to my MS PRO DUO stick. By doing this, the PS3 automatically created the following folders & files on the root of my MS PRO DUO stick: "PS3\EXPORT\PSV\BESLES-54203504553364F5054.PSV"
So, basically what I did was copy the downloaded file directly into the folder "PS3\EXPORT\PSV", at what point I was asked if I would like to overwrite the existing file, so clicked "YES" for the file to copy.
But when I placed the memory stick ino the PS3, and navigated to "GAME\MEM CARD UTIL\MEM STICK" via the XMB, the file came up as "Corrupted Data" with a purple icon. Thinking I must have fucked up somewhere, I then tried the procedure again, but with the same results. I then deleted the dowloaded file, and downloaded again in case the original was corrupted, but still get the same error "corrupted data". I can copy existing option files back and forth between the memory stick and the internal PS3 memory card, so I know there's no issues there, and all files on my memory card are fine, so theres no chance of any corruption here.
Sorry for the long explanation, but I thought it's better if I fully describe what I did so you guys can look into this. Anyway for further informaion I have a UK spec PS3 running FW 1.60 and have PES6 UK version.
Any ideas anyone?
