Hi all,

I am using the PC WE2007 version of the OF.

I realised that the faces do not correspond with the player names inside the game...so we have wayne rooney looking like park ji sung...cristiano ronaldo looking like louis saha...I am sure you get the idea by now

Is there any way I can get around this? I have already tried converting the PES6 OF using the PESFan Editor but it still gives the same problem.

I used the new PES editor 6.3. to convert PES 6 pc file to WEPES 2007 pc, I used the new pes-editor to check faces on WEPES 2007 PC file, here's how Rooney looks in this file:

As you can see, Rooney's face is correct, what happens with the new PES editor 6.3 is, it doesnt convert preset faces on duplicate players, as you should know by now, the default file in PES 6 and WEPES 2007 contains a lot of duplicates, for example Carrick. The editor didnt convert this face to its preset counterpart. That's why a lot of faces are incorrect when converted from PES 6 to WEPES 2007, the solution is: convert manually all the incorrect faces. I dont have WEPES 2007 PC, so, you guys will have to do it yourselves. Sorry.

Do I need to register at filefront to download the file? Cause clicking on "download file" for the WE2007 (PS2) Xport file just sends me to the filefront homepage...

Mmmm.... That's odd, I just checked xport link and it's working. Maybe you have pop-up blocker software on?

In PES6 there is more special hairstyles/faces than in PESWE2007, so when you convert the files, some of the faces/hairstyles don't appear correct cos they are not on PESWE2007.

Yes I understand this part...but I don't quite get the part about the duplicate players?

There are Duplicate players on both games, such as Drogba is in both Ivory Coast and Chelsea, but he is two seperate players, not one.

So the one in Ivory Coast is a fake duplicate who you would type over, there are more duplicates aswell.

One more question...I am using the EPT editor that Pategato mentioned above...I cannot seem to see the player's faces when using the editor...am I doing something wrong here?

And one more question...how do I convert the PES6 file to the WE2007 file using the EPT editor?

You have to use the PESFAN Editor 6.0.3

PES Editor 6.04 does detect the US version but I just tried converting the option file from PES6 over and C.Ronaldo still showed up with an asian face and Rooney was way off.

There are probably more but I only checked those two.

Compulsion has updated his PES Editor and now it fully converts PES 6 OF to WE 2007 PC, front page link has been updated, now pategato & goalgerd World Soccer V2.5 is fully compatible with WE 2007 PC, no more messed faces!!. Enjoy.
