PES 5 and 6 has the perfect balance of rigidity and response - it wasn't too rigid or too light and players all felt like they weighed their actual weight. You could every movement and that is what PES 2012 tried to replicate - the demo was too responsive so they toned it down in patch 1.03 to balance it

tbh pes 2012 is my most frustrating pes ever!!! defending is almost impossible as dribbling is much easier and keepers are horrible as well. it seems the keepers get worse in each version. and oh, the graphics are bad compared to pes 2011. my favourite pes's are pes 2011, pes 2009 and pes 5

Defending is crap in 2011 as it is defo not realistic fro defenders to run away from every through ball and players run away from loose balls or them not clearing it. It's laughable that you have no problem with PES 2011'S defense and you have a lot with PES 2012. Also defending is easier in the new match and if you jockey, contain and hold with speed merchants it actually works. For me PES 2011 was embarassing for realism and gameplay. For freedom its great but for realism, not anyday

2011 is way too easy..
and whoever says through ball in 2012 is impossible to do, well i guess you just not that good playing it. all you need to do is side standing against your computer while running wait for your partner find the right position to get it and press triangle or maybe L1+triangle, yes it needs right timing though. use R3+up/down to help you out, practice makes perfect
playing against superstar is also good training how you combine R2+L1+L2 to trick the Ai, it is frustrating of course if you can't do it, however it makes you God when you do the positioning goal after beautiful passing game.

I juist think that in PES 2013, there should be more individuality so not someone like Bramble can make through ball interceptions like puyol as I was versing sunderland and Bramble was just class with his interceptions

What exactly is your problem and you are using offensive language to anyone that saying likes pes 2011 better?
If i press the shoot button and the speed button together while my team is defending in BaL i see my defenders running, intercepting finally they don't let even star players to make it to the box or even easy shoot! In master league you can set some defensive players to follow the start attacker all over the field if you like but i avoid it because some teams are playing change position and they may find the defense wide open, i mean if you don't have wing defenders with cover is dangerous. And i like it better because i can use special training and built the defenders the way i like them unlike pes 2012 that i can't do something like this. You can find defenders with bigger aggressiveness and they run to the ball like crazy. I usually choose players with better condition 6 minimum and tenancy bigger as it docent grow so easy and i build them giving the special cards i like so were is your problem?
For realism? Set the difficulty in top player and you will see any high cross broken, slower defenders to run faster than speedy attackers and the tenacity 95 even worthless.
Ps: I forgot the "skating on ice" story!? In pes 2011 by default the game speed is set to 0 you can move it up +2 if you like it also and upload a vod how well you skating in champions league with a team that uses 5 defenders, like rangers, in top player while you just using a new BaL player with low stamina and you will get substituted in the second half for sure.
Bottom line is for every problem you can find a solution if you just explore the game a bit better.
