Just a suggestion... have you taken the disc out & checked it for dirt/smudges? I have the same problem with Madden 09 & have to wipe it periodically.

Im running the pc version but its confirmed that for several players it always crashes at the start of week 10.

(btw it changes when you get to bench, depends on the team and how you play.. ive played twice to week 10 now and both were completely different experiences.. thats very good! If it just would work!)

Nope i dont got a link, around here youll see plenty people saying that.

I have autosave off.. still it always crashes at the same point..
BUT..
im trying on different OS now, and im on week8.. but i need a break and food now so after that im testing if it still crashes on week 10 for me.

tried xp pro vista 64 amd 32 all the same crash maybe it will work in linux :)

hell i need a mac:)

win xp sp2

first time it crashed at week 26 and nothing i tried would fix it. it crashes just as save game loads, 2 seconds later.

i restarted a new character and it crashed at week 30. same story.

I managed to get past it by skipping matches to week 12 and then playing one. I'm now trying with a new game where I play every match and see when (not if) the crash happens.

The plot thickens.

does anybody know if u can change the play position later in the game ?? i blew it , with SMF , now playing as a leftback :S

I scored twice in my first game and set up the winner for Ballymena or whoever it is, won 3-2, the scouts loved me and i got a transfer to Villa :) Only on my second week but i figure im going to edit all the teams and put real kits and badges on before i start it up again, im praying this doesn't happen to my copy, i can't stand crashes, and knowing me i'll get to week 30 and won't have had it saved until like week 5 or something silly like that.
