Hello everyone. I started BAL in Top player. I almost finished the first half of the first season and I didn't manage to play in a first team game... I only play in practice match and usualy in the second team. They promote me in the first team for one game and after that they put me again in the second team. I am a SS usualy I take 6 rating, sometimes 5.5 and less 6.5. Is this normal or not?

Thank you and sorry for my english

It depends on your ratings to get a place in the first team. When I started of with BAL it took me something like 7 matches to get in the inter-squad and another 3 to make it to the bench. But now I play my third season (at another club) I only have played 4 trainingmatches to make it to the bench and finally some substitutions to get in the starting line up.

Just try to score some 6.5 ratings in the upcoming matches, for sure you will get in the starting line-up after a while. Just keep passing the ball around and try to get a goal or assist sometimes (wich is not the most important thing to do, I only scored 4 goals in three seasons now).

I think I try to begin again as a AMC it is better :)

Better than 6 is what you need.

5.5 basically says you played bad! If you get 3 or 4 5.5's in a row you will get dropped and sometimes right back down the the intersquad B team!!

I started off my career at West Brom- absolutely shocking stats!! I've seen some other people's posted and I think mine were one of the worst! anyway i thought i'll give it a go on top player. Stayed at West Brom for 2 seasons because my offers elsewhere were shite and I was in the starting line up so thought i may aswell stay. I can't score for shit though- I maybe scored 3 or 4 goals in those 2 seasons!

Finally moved to Middlesboro, they played much better attacking football, at least for the start anyway- I scored 3 goals in the first half of the season, then I had a couple of bad games and was dropped and back into the training matches!! Got pissed off with Boro and skipped the last 10 or so matches of the season. Decided to move away from the premier league and head to France!

Started at Bretagne? a shit team in the french league, but I thought i'd go for it- actually got straight onto the bench- no training matches! again though, maybe scored 2/3 goals in the half season. Negotiatons at Xmas came up and got an offer from Lille who are ranked fairly high so I went there.

Had training matches again, maybe about 4-5 then made the bench. At my current point I start some games and usually get a half game if i'm on the bench. I'm playing CF but they only play one up top so its been a bit harder. Also had a couple of sub appearances for Wales, but lose most of those games!!

Anyone else find it really difficult to score goals on top player?? granted im only 20 and my stats are not great at all- only top speed is in 80's, got a few stats in 70's, but nothing special!!

Just reading everyone's stories makes me think why do people change clubs so much ? I started my career at OGC Nice in the French League, and I'm nearing the end of my 3rd season, and thus far don't have any intention of leaving Nice. I'm playing my position very frequently, we play a good 4-3-3 formation which suits me nicely, and by constantly changing clubs can't be good. I would leave this summer mind if Manchester United came in for me, but even then I'd have to think about it.

I didn't want to switch too many clubs at first, but when I was at West Brom I kept getting the same offers from Stoke, Hull etc. so I waited a couple of seasons for M'Boro. Went there and findin it hard so wanted to move leagues and one of the worst teams came in for me!

I'm planning on playin for Lille a little bit, but I hardly get any scoring chances in a game- getting pretty frustrated with it! How you doing with goalscoring Hunter?

I regret leaving Spartak Moscow and am on my 4th team at only 20; Vitesse (6 months), Spartak Moscow (2.5 years) PSG (6 months) and just joined Monaco.

I had an offer from Monaco but went for Lille instead because they were ranked higher. Hopefully it was a good move!

Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum, although I have been a reader for a long while. I am loving the new Pro and had to get involved with some talk!

I have a couple of questions about BAL;

- Do your experience stats rise quicker if you are on top player, as opposes to begginner? So would I be better playing on Top Player and scoring one goal than scoring a hatrick on the lowest level

- Do your stats increase more if you score more goals/get more assists/have a higher rating. Obvously you will get dropped if you play badly but will I recieve more skill points if I get an 7.5 one game than a 5.5?

Appreciate if youg uys can help me out...Oh 'CHAPMAN' plays SS for Sunderland and is currently ripping it up on 'professinal' but at the end of the season I'm gonna take the step up!

- Goalscoring isn't my forte at the moment I'll be honest. My first season was primarily spent trying to get a solid place in the first team.
- My second season went very well in terms of scoring as I managed to score 8 goals and gather 5 assists which isn't too shabby for an AMF. My ratings took a bit of a knock as I picked up 6 yellow cards mind, the majority of the time though I'd slide and take the entire ball before even touching the man frustratingly.
- My third season which is nearly finished has been very poor for the majority, I was given a straight red card near the start, then when I came back, some cunt injured me for 3 weeks, therefore I missed some England matches too. Thankfully I made it back soon enough, but got myself sent off again stupidly. Soon after coming back, I was suspended yet again for receiving the 3 yellow cards resulting in a suspension. I've only scored 2 goals this season, but have 4 assists. It's been very on and off for me this season, especially with discipline as that's taken its toll on my ratings. At least I have something to work on though for next season. I'm starting to play some great football now though after coming back from my third suspension this season.

What position do you play again like mate ? I seem to be getting myself in the right places again, but I'm sure the goalkeepers for the opposition team have been improved since the update. ;)

To answer your second question:
I've seen it happen, so yes. You get match exp points if you make lets say 2 goals in a game or 2 assists.

Saweet...my first team debut came as a substitute at half time and I slotted away 2 goals. Keano...wanting to keep me level headed...kept me on the bench for the next game and brought me on after 70minutes. I came on and scored what was much like leadbitters goal against arsenal this season!

I'm 22 years old but your never to old to run round your kitchen celebrating!

Yeah I'm playing for Hull at the moment, my first season..I just got into the first team last night, making 4 sub appearances in like 6 games.. then I got man of the match after I was put in at half time, and then I have been starting ever since, getting man of the match 2 more times, scoring one and setting up a couple from the CF position on TOP PLAYER.

Hunter-

I'm playin CF and find I get into good positions but the AI struggles to find the passes sometimes. Hopefully that will change if I ever make it to a top team! I started a master league yesterday though, so gave BAL a bit of a rest because it was frustratin me!! I'll be back at it this weekend though!

you find you get a lot of room as an attacking mid? I seem to find more space when I drop off a little bit, but when I do this it seems to affect my ratings because i'm not staying in position where the manager wants me!

I think the room you get just depends on how you move into the spaces. I try not to stray from my area too much but I do sometimes have to drop off into the CMF position. It is sometimes frustrating as my team can play utterly shite, but they can also play great so it just purely depends on the day.

Yeah i hear ya- when I went to Boro, they played great an I scored a few goals because they were finding my runs- i wasn't even having to call for the ball! but then out of no where they just started playing terrible and its been downhill from there!! also, how long do you play games? i been playin 10min games if im startin, but if im on the bench i just play 5min because i dont want to sit through it all!

Alright, I'm still in my first season at BAL, only 7 games in and still on the reserves. Quick question.....

Sometimes at the very late stages of the game I get a triangle over my head that has a red outline with a blue middle. Anyone know what that means? I assume it means I'm getting tired but I can't find anything in the manual about this.

Cheers and thanks in advance
