thats Brooking for you though. Whats with the player ratings after the game too? If a player scores a tap in from 2 yards, it's sometimes described as a "soraing right foot volley" and however good your goal is in the last 5 minutes, you always get "In the end, he got the job done"

in pes4 i scored a goal and u heard the usual "oh its a goal" then the other commentator said "what do u think ur doin thats my line" never heard it again only the one time

There are two that stand out for me:

Oh yes and of course.....the old classic from pes, the original.....

Gotta admit, never played WE series but whenever I've seen a vid of it, the commentary sounds a lot better even if I cant understand a word of it. It's more atune to the pace of the game.

Any fluent Japanese and English speakers care to compare the quality and appropriateness of both commentaries?

My fav is the old "And we're into the 2nd half of extra time after a goalless game so far" (paraphrased) when its 1-1 in the first 45mins.
