Ha ha, I have Deano as a 18 year old reserve - he's surprisingly good for a youngun. His stats are bad but he doesn't play too badly and has a half-decent shot.

I think older players generally come off better when they are reborn, because their starting stats are near the very bottom of their development chart, so when they are reborn, they can become much better than they ever were in real life.

And to prove this, I believe everyone should always sign Nedved when he is reborn. Guarunteed legend everytime.

From what I've played so far, striker's that are standing out are Torres, Ibrahimovic and Rooney. Adriano's not bad either. Shot like a bullet!!

i think rooney is good when i first got pes 2009 i could only seem to score with him
i also think benzema is quality i had two shots with him and two goals pato is good in the air and adriano cause he has the most powerfull shot in the game

Benzema & Aguero will prob end up being the best over time, i shall sign them both after the year 2010. followed by messi and pato and c ronaldo.

when i go to my local on a friday they usually have the spanish league on, so do sports bars in town, maybe you just miss thembecause they are played at a different time like friday and saturday night instead of day.

as for the best striker, Eto'o by a mile!he is super fast, super strong and has a super finish.

I can't be arsed to get a bus into a strange pub in Stirling town just to watch some La Liga... and the only bar on campus shows about 5 games a week - about 3 English games and 2 Scottish games... thankfully I've never been in the bar at the same time as one of those lower league games...

adriano is the best on the game, because he just shoots from anywere and it go in,

pirlo is a letdown compared to 08

torres stats should be better than they are on the game

I totally agree with the Pirlo part, he sucks in the game, what the hell! he is so freaking slow, i think slower than the overrated riquelme... and yes Torres shooting should be better, his speed and acceleration aint bad though, I like picking Spain online and Villa scores many more goals than Torres. Torres for me is just a runner and set up balls for Villa to finish.

Yeh Borriello is good in the game, he's on the bench for my AC Milan team but whenever needed he always does a job for me.

I like Pirlo in the game, granted he is as slow as a week in the jail but his passing is immense, everything goes through him nearly.

coolest finisher... Ummm.. Henrik Larsson'?? had in my ml in 08.. Going to get him again this time around... I like to have one speedster finisher and one tactical finisher... And Larsson falls into the second spot... :)

Hi I think Tevez is quite good in pes 2009 in fact i play tevez better then i play rooney don't know why though . Cheers ! And by the way i have pes 2009 on my psp and in master league sometimes when i sub the players in they get subbed in but after awhile they are not inside and the subbed players are in again and i cant use the subsitutes anymore

i have pato and benzema starters in my ML team (2011-2012), with rooney and a young english striker called rowlands on bench.

i dont really like rooney on this, i bring him on if i cant score cos he bulldozes through, but apart from that i think his finishing is too poor.

i kept pirlo up until end of 2011 season and sold him for 30k!, and his stats hadnt dropped at all, always have him on for the free kicks, tho kaiser now good enuff for that.
