Bitter quitters: PES 2013 update allows players to 'retire' at half time

I would love to be allowed to quit even before the match starts when my oponent chooses Barca as a team!

iv actually had people on 2012 beg me not to play as real or barca or any other big team so we both choose average sides then 3 seconds before the time runs out they shoot off and choose barca at the last second

They arent addressing the heart of the problem in Online and that is playing the same 2 teams over and over again. I'm still hoping there is some sort of a multi tier system for selecting opponents. Huge clubs being tier 4 all the way down to tie 1 etc etc.

If not by now any seasoned online players knows to screen opponents by looking at their last selected clubs and never play anyone with the tag KSA in front of their PSN you're only asking for trouble.

Not a big fan of this. Before the match option would def be better, but not during for normal online ranked. If there was a before match option in MLO ppl would just cherry pick to death, and some ppl would never get a game.

I've prob had the same amount of quitters over a two year period on PES, than 1 week playing Fifa.

I mainly play MLO, and some of the scrubbings i've been on the end of with my puny Div.5 ranked teams by Speed merchant super squads hasn't been fun. But I really think the game benefits from the lack of option to quite. Connection has never really been a problem for me either.

After trying to reduce all the OP factors that can arise online in previous games, why only now give the option?

Ppl talked last year about their DQ% going down even when their opponent quit. Hopefully this will be fixed. I know it sounds obvious, but can anyone blame me worrying when Konami is concerned

well if im honest im a 550 score player minimum. not the best but far from the worst.

this whole real madrid barcelona problem some times will see my score drop from 500 to under 400 over the course of about 10 matches.

sometimes after i have just lost 3-0 to barcelona the game ends and i realise i was struggling to compete with somebody on a score of 384

but then i play a arsenal vs man united game and i can easily get a result against somebody in the 500s

that is how bad this real barca thing really is or was as of 12

we do not know about 13 yet do we

just fix one thing ... " punish only the quitter" not the honest guy as well ... it will decrease quitting hell of a lot

This is not a bad idea , the quitter leaves the game at an agreed time , the winner records the win. Where is the issue?

It's not fair play.

What if your In Real Life Spurs loose 0-4 at half-time and decide to quit the game that they assume lost, to concentrate on the next game ?

Quitting is not the spirit of Sport.

This is a poor solution to their incompetence to solve real online disconnection issues.

Of course this decision sucks especially to those who play in competitions where you need a good goal average. Competitions like Champions League, where lots of players register, you need a clear 3 wins with lots of goals scored (at least 3-4 per game).

If everyone quits at halftime while the score is 1-0 you don't get anywhere. Quitters should be dealt with accordingly and if Konami can't automatize the process in detecting who's cheating, let them HAVE A SPECIAL DEPARTMENT which deals with customer complaints accompanied by video recordings. It's not so hard, is it?

what if you need to have a shit at halftime - or need to go out somewhere?

You have something like 3 minutes at halftime to do you needs.

Go somewhere else? .... why do you even start a game in the first place, if you need to go somewhere else?

1) Don't start a game if you feel a shit brewing up in the next 5/10mins.

2) Hold it in for the 2nd half!

what a bunch of lightweights

Never know when you might need to go out:) , maybe a naked Jessica Alba is running past the house?

Also I'm getting older now - the turnaround time between feeling a log coming and needing to download is getter shorter every day!!
