I am new, so please anyone explain to me how to make this gameplay option file installed and working. Thanks

Install the game
Install the Konami patch
Install the full option file (from post 1 in this thread)
Install the edit file over the edit file in the full option file

I have already downloaded and copied GTM's option file(s) for this year and obviously I dont want to mess anything up or waste all the time I spent copying everything over

What I wanted to know was, is it possible for me to merge the 2 files so that I have all the stuff I have already copied over AND things from this option file such as more realistic stats and classic team player names, kits, faces etc?

Please let me know as soon as poss as id like to crack on and get going

You cannot have them both on. My advise would be to try the game play file and then make your mind up if it's worth copying over stuff from the other file after playing some games.

I know it takes time, but this option file has had months of work on and I think makes this so much better a game that its worth it

Enjoying this post, just printing it out now.

Hope this isn't too much off topic, but would this apply to PES on ps2 aswell? I am editing PES 2012 on ps2 for my brother and was wondering if i apply these changes would it improve the gameplay?

Also, any idea how to create more fouls? I tried reducing the Balance but just makes me laugh watching players fall all over the place but no free kicks (also ps2)

Back on topic, as I said previously this is really good work. I have had to reduce skill to 'regular' as i keep getting thumped. But i don't mind when CPU plays well and not scripted.

I'm still amazed how you have managed to make konami's patch 1.01 work so well.

Started a league, first game I lost as Tottenham 4-0 to Sunderland. In CPU fixtures Newcastle won 5-2, how did that happen Chimps? :tongue:

I tried to remain unbiased, but know a lot about the Newcastle players and have seen them hit teams at home for 5 a good few times in the last two seasons. I also cannot be that biased if Sunderland won 4 - 0 too!

Ha obviously not, Sunderland are top in my league, Newcastle 2nd.

I know you tested gameplay on Top Player but just to let you know that it plays just as great on the lower levels. Have not tried patch 1.00 yet i may do over the weekend and let you know how it is.

Also did you give Dawson the CF position or konami? And sorry one more thing Pienaar is a way too good. He is quite fast and really good at dribbling. Didnt know he was that good, as he has been injured since we signed him lol.

I will have to look at sorting out Newcastle and Sunderland then if that is happening and look at Pienaar. I think I gave him them stats last year when he was at Everton and playing well.

I havent touched any positions of players, so it was probably konami.

I kind of thought that going back to 1.00 with my tweaks would make it too floaty and dribbling too easy

Just want to say thanks again for such a brillaint option file. I have done a lot of editing to it myself - for instance ive changed the Portugese league with the Championship one so I can play the Championship in Be a Legend and I`ve added a load of chants to the teams. With that in mind I wont be adding your latest edit file on top goalgerd, is there any chance I could find out what duplicate players there are so I can delete them manually.

Okay here goes guys, starting a Master League, with Liverpool, using your OF and post patch. Superstar level. Will report my findings. I changed your Chelsea suggestions and lowered some Liverpool stats too, hope that aids me in my quest for 50-50% possession!

I have been playing mainly pre patch 1.0 but will now test on 1.1 as it would appear you're patch works better on this level

Stadium sponsors still refuse to show for me, even stadiums seem mixed up when i select one. installed all files from first post and stadium pack, latest edit files when they have been released! copying over all stadium files and still refuses to work!

Top file apart from that though.

So when you want to have 18 NPOWER Teams you have to use the Portugal League for it e.g. copy all teams over in league structure and add 3 missing ones from the available team packs? I tried to do it in Goalgerds NPOWER league but Celtic and Rangers were greyed out. Let me know mate...

Has anybody tried these tactics with the OF, I looked at the thread via a link a few pages back and although it's not finished I do like the look of them especially if they add to the realism.

So has anybody used them? Also how do u put them in game?

Iirc there are only 16 teams in the Portugese league, so yeah I swapped 13 of the Championship teams plus Shamrock, Rangers and Celtic into the Portugese league and vice versa. Also changed the league emblems around. Just means I can play with them in Be a Legend

If i download this option file will it be possible to extract only the german teams and then use the import/export feature to get them in my game?
