Oh my days! I advise all of you if you havent done so to view the Sony PS3 press conference from Gamespot. You dont need to be a member to stream the video. I am just awe struck. Bluetooth connectivity, real time volumetric lighting and shading, 50GB blue ray disc media, RSX GPU, muti screen display, Enough power to emulate high definition movie like graphics as demonstrated in the tech/game demos. Especially of the CG clip of Alfred Molina and the rendered footage Final fantasy, The Getaway and Fight Night round 3. I am literally wetting myself watching this.

Let me tell you that PES is gonna be breath taking if Konami use the potential of the hardware.

The reason that the controler is like that is because sony got suied for copying the analog controlar, therfore they had to make a new one and it looks worse then the xbox oringinal controllar, so people who said that the xbox is crap because of the controlar are gutted.

I don't see the controller as that big of a deal. The machine itself looks good but again does it really matter that much? What does matter is the games, and no other console can touch the ps3 on that. From what I have seen of the gameplay video's it looks fantastic and very realistic.

PS3 shaping up nicely. Ok the controller looks a bit odd, and Sony shouldn't really mess with perfection, but i'm sure they know best and it will actually be comfortable to use. I'll be buying the silver one.

I'm gonna embarrass myself by saying this but I was watching the games show on bravo, and I'm not slagging off xbox 360 but.......... there were two race games on it one was Sony Formula one on ps3 which looked amazing, unbelievable, I was astonished, and one was for a racing game on xbox 360, can't remember the name though I can tell you I thought it was a ps2 game when i first saw it. The funny bit was when the guy said "photo-realistic graphics" I thought to myself pfft wait till you see the next generation of consoles, then he said "on xbox 360" and my stomach fell, I thought after all the hype I was seeing a next-gen console game running and it looked rubbish, but then i saw Sony F1, I was relieved. I've put it down to F1 being a Sony game and I'll wait to see Microsoft-made games before passing judgement but from what I saw I'd buy a ps3 straght away.
