This seems to be the 'blow you're own fag horn' thread so I'll join in: I rarely get below 20 kills nowadays. Got 29/3 just now, and then 32/8. :smug:

I'm going through a bad spell at the moment, well, actually I think I'm starting to perform well once again. About 2 weeks ago I was killing everything in sight, getting scores of around 30/4 almost every game or other. However recently I've hit a dry spell and I'll be getting neutrals such as 9/9 and sometimes worse which is annoying. I think it's because as I'm in the middle of prestiging again, I'm experimenting with some guns that I'm not particularly used to such as the AK74U etc. I've started using the MP5 a lot more now, and I understand why I've never used it much, it's an awful gun with horrific recoil when compared to the like of the Scorpion and AK74U. Although, now I'm starting to find my rhythm again, and I'm now achieving positive scores once more. My kill/death ratio did drop from around 1.45 to 1.43 during the dip in performance though, bah! :D

I wish that the online mode has a lounge only for players with the same rank. I just tried the online mode, and I had to play against players with rank 30+. I even saw a player on rank 55

Doesn't it match you in terms of kill/death ratio as opposed to rank ? That's the way I always thought it worked. It doesn't particularly take any skill to rank up and prestige, just time, however kill/death ratio does actually require skill to rise. Possibly why you're ranked with prestiged players and high ranks, they may simply have a lower kill/death ratio than their rank suggests.

Don't know. I was playing the free mode.
Also I'm having problem when getting online. I'm always stuck on 'downloading game setting' when trying to find a game. I'm connected through wireless

Check whether your connection is strong, because if it's weak the chances of you playing online without lag is slim. Just go to the dashboard to check, Text Xbox Live Connection.

I have 100% signal. Also, i'm using a ps3.
From my research, IW released a patch to fix this, which I already downloaded.

I guess PS3's just suck arse. That's the only possible answer. ;)

Seriously though, I doubt I could really help since I haven't a clue about PS3's. I'd just suggest signing up to a PS3 forum, and asking about it.
