It's not going very good !
Gk Marken 20yrs Scotland Best growth in ML! This was the easiest choice to make.
CB Kivu 24 Romania

I like Marken... Think I'll look into him. But I already have good GKs... Well... Can't hurt to have another.

So I guess Kivu stands for the old wisdom in your team! :)

That is correct. Yes. If you create yourself you will be in Liverpool at the begining of master league. Your player will even get the correct age. Remember to adjust the Growth Type in Edit Player / Basic Settings!

what does condition warning mean? do i have to rest the player or what do i need to do?

Condition warnings come up when a player is wounded, suspended or away on a game for their home country. Sometimes it says "Player Departure" aswell... I think "Play. Dep" is suspended and National games och Condition warning means that someone is hurt.

Loans in WE9

I found out yesterday that teams can loan your players! Arsenal tried to loan martins but i didn't want to let him go. Funny though that it's possible now...

Angelpure cheers and thanks for the insightful posts you have made. I have almost ended my 1st season playing on 3 stars(I think this level 3 is alot harder that WE8i 3 stars). I chose a couple of players at the beginning of the ML. I chose Gilardino (Ita), Puyol, Adebayor, Kallstrom and Rodrigo Defendi and Exteberria. I kinda gave myself between 2000-3000 to spend on 6 players (salaries). I reckon I got a good investment in Kallstrom and Gilardino. Puyol is a star a very neat solid wall in def. The rest have not been great. Exteberria had great states but has not done a thing for me.

I am curently in 2nd position with only a few games left, but damn the game is hard. I can never really hammer a side.

Does anyone have any gameplay hints...I know get my finger of r1, I get the ball taken off me way to easy...and I never really find myself with a time on the ball and take a decent crack at the goals.

The game is frustrating as my for it is alot harder on the same level than previoes we incarnations.

By the way angelpure, who do you reckon will be a player worth keeping in the orignal ML side that you get at the start of the season?

Take care people,
blackgrendel

I see everyone is buying Vanden Borre (Vomme) from Anderlecht. He's an amazing youth player who develop well but isn't Kompany also from Anderlecht much better???

Nice advice:

1. It's now possible to take created players and put them on a club team and then use in ML.

Might be a very stupid question, but do I understand you correctly: you say you can put created players in a club team?? Not just in national teams like in all the PES and WE games before?? That would be awesome! Or is that only possible when playing Master League with created players in you team and not the Premier League or so??

How to change the momentum (we9)

I don't quite understand what ML Side means? And that goes double for "hammer a side"?

But I guess you are talking about the original players you get... I wouldn't keep anyone, try to trade them (selling them is hard) for a bit younger, better players and you will get new players cheaper.

I was having trouble keeping a stable performance through the game... As first a scored two goals and then let in 3 goals in the second half... I used a very offensive 3-4-3 formation and it didn't work for me at all at 3 stars. So I took Inter Milans formation 4-4-2 with one DMF, one CMF, two OMF. Like this:

......SB
....CB......DMF......OMF......CF
GK
....CB..........CMF......OMF......CF
......SB

And it is working very well for me because I relised that most of the time I got my SMFs really tired without feeling that I've used them very much. I didn't do many crosses, most of my play was through the center. So by changing to this I got a better passing game...

Before I made a lot of goals but I let in a lot aswell. Now I use all the players in my lineup and they don't get as tired... I score as well... Even beat Barcelona (in WEFA) away with 0-3.

A little game tip: Try and shoot a lot for far away with players with really high shooting power. This might result in corners even goals but more importantly it seems that there is an in-built momentum for teams in the game... I.e If it's going good it's going really good. Sometimes you feel like toy intercept every pass, you score at will and sometimes it's the opposite. By shooting a lot it's my opinion that that changes the momentum and you will make you team work more. Don't now if this is true, maybe it's psychological thing for me...

I do not acctually think he is that good... But If his dev. curve is good and he is working for you then buy him! Sometimes if a player transfers or perhaps it's just luck he will be trained much faster than his curve, even in other clubs... I got a player that shouldn't have been good at all but he had been trained to about 5 points over his training curve....

The development of Rooney in WE9

Pai-Ling said:
Pretty good stuff, Thats what im talking about when it comes to Rooney - but by the graph curve it shows that he deteriates at 23? theres no way in the world that when Rooney is 23 in real life he will start getting worse..?

The screenshot of Rooney shows his curve during his entire life. So between the vertical line is 5 years (I think) and not 1 year. So he will gain stats until he is over 30!

It's a very stupid question Joey but I understand your enthusiasm, it is a great new improvement but also one that should have been standard a long time ago.

The answer is YES. You can create Joey aged 22 and throw him into Arsenals lineup. Use him in cups, leagues, ML, friendlies.

Now, if anyone more asks the same question I will very, very likly become insane. ;-)

I noticed this too. I mean sometimes perhaps a second wind or something my team seems to click all of a sudden. My passes seemed to be spot on. The pressure I applied on the X button seemed to be just perfect . Even an impossible one-two will somehow see one of my players trying to retrieve the pass. There is some kind of momentum that builds up.It kind of motivates us too and put us on a high. The same can be said for the opposing side. Once momentum builds up in their favour, it is so difficult to get the ball. In the event if you do get the ball, it is extremely difficult to hold possession and you will lose it before long.Somehow or rather, we have to break the momentum, by kicking the ball out of play, performing aggressive tackle, delaying the game whatever.

Very true! What you were talking about here (when they controll the game), that is when I try to make shoots from REALLY far away... like 50 meters. Just just to get some shoots on goal. I think shoots on goal motivates your team.

I guess you don't have a chiped ps2. Well, too bad! It is actually a really good game.

Another thing I noticed is that the palyers get tired faster in this game than PES4.

I do however hope that there are some new things or at least some improvements in PES5.

You can loan players on PES4 but only during Mid-Season...so only for half a season.

Thats why i was asking can you loan for a whole season.
