Thanks for the response angelpure. ML side is exactly what you thought it was the team you start off with in the master leagur...and hammer a side means to beat a team comprehensively like 3-nil and more.

I will try the formation you suggest and let you know if it is successful for me.

I guess I am getting frustrated with the game because the opposition don't allow me to have a some time on the ball. They are very good at reading my plays it seems. I have not lost a game yet so I suppose I am doing something right. Great game though the visuals are stunning and smooth.

Players to watch Joe Cole for the Blues has an impressive set of stats in the game and he is still fairly young.

I know I can set up my own formation but is there a formation in the game that incorporates a sweeper and a forward with height and heading ability?

My Gilardino is leading the competition in goals at the moment with one league game left. I think I have scored around 12 goals with hime. He has never ben injured or overly tired. A real gun striker IMHO.

Jay I have found that in previous WE titles given more for a star is needed in order to appease their ego and seeming worth.

Well if he's not interested at all then it can be really hard to get that player... 5000-6000 above his value and then 1000-2000 more in salary has sometimes worked for me... Bur in some cases it's almost impossible... In PES4 I gave Ronaldinho 4999 i salary before he sign to my team!

I can't seem to change the position to sweeper... But I don't quite understand what you are asking for? If you want a strong header to score with why don't you just take a fromation with wings and one center forward in the middle?

To see if you can do this you should wait until the off-season begins, go to a player and see if there is the loan option avialable to click on.

Gilardino was the golden boot I think he ended up with 12 goals. I did not lose any games but drew around 6 or 7 of them. My team had the GA.
I just won the D2 cup and came 2nd in the D2 league. I finally got Martins from Inter to my team. He is young is super quick with impressive stats. Mind you I had to pay a huge amount for him. By the way Coles stats and Puyols stats are very impressive after the season.

Angelpure any idea where to find free agents?

I tryed it actually and I found players that had the loan option in the menu for transactions but it was not enabled. So I guess the answer is no! It's not possible.

Go to search, search by group, now you will get a menu with all the teams emblems, it's possible to press r1 or L1 to swith teams... Press L1 from when you start or go to the page where the star is... There are some "teams" tha are no real teams, they are new players, unsigned, other and something else... Look at my screenshots on page two of this forum. The second one should be the unsigned.

D2 - D1 then Div2 cup, Div1 Cup, WEFA, WEFA Championship.

Every Division is In a different league... There are four leagues: A-D. So you only play teams from your own league except in WEFA & WEFA Champ.

i don't know where to find them... But if I start posting stats here that's all that's gonna be here. Everyone wants the stats... But I can tell you that Gerrard har 95 i stamina and in passing he's also in the red. Owen is still very good but not as good as in the previous games.
