Well said. It would be great to hear a huge roar after a last-minute winner, for example or a certain opposition player being booed by the home fans if he's not liked by that club, e.g. Ashley Cole

Also, if, for example, the home team is losing by a lot, it would be cool to see the ground gradually empty in the last twenty minutes.

Unfortunately, that idea could be implemented for every game at the Emirates :faceplm:

The crowd sounds on PES always have been shocking and without any good excuse.

I play on PC so obvioulsy have patched crowd chants etc but when I do play on console and hear the utter garbage Konami are trying to pass off as crowd sounds it actually makes me feel nausious and I simply have to turn volume down.

If community patchers can compile cracking crowd chants packs then there is no reason why a professional games developer cannot do so.

Completely agree...

When I compare MSG 4 and PES 09, one game that is critically acclaimed worldwide and renowed for being one of the best games ever and the other can't even get their crowd chants right , it's almost embarassing...

KONAMI needs to sort out their priorities.

crowds are very important combine with player interaction big goals n important goals should be celebrated like they supposed to

Also having the crowd wearing the same color shirt as the team they are supporting......... unlike in the previous PES...

The biggest improvement I want to see with the crowd is how they react to a goal.

There should be a HUGE cheer if the home team scores and even bigger if it's in the last 10 mins!! If the away team scores there should be a quieter cheer but Really passionate!

I also think the fans celebrating should be a lot better. I think the camera should cut to the away fans going mad when you score a late winner or in a derby game. At the minute the fans look like they're trying to dance to techno and half of them can't be bothered!!!

They used to good. Pro evio 1 and 2 on the PS2 had great crowd effects.
But as in life they like dumbing things down.

Every time a side completes over 10 passes the crowd start to Ole or get fired up depending on the home team. Aswell if a player gets booked for a nasty challenge the crowd boo him our get on his back.

Best idea ever I know.

Well, the competition is going the opposite way and not just in regard to fan chants which FIFA does very well indeed.

Simply no excuse for this total lack of effort on Konamis part. They could pay a student to do it part-time, there is no copyright on the garbled shouting noises made by a big bunch of spectators in a football stadium.

.......Mind you, as a PC gamer I aint really too bothered as the fan chants patched to my install are excellent.

Couldn't agree more with what has previously been said so far here. It's been the case for years and we all know it, Konami has absolutely no excuse when it comes to the crowd noise - they just need to simply turn the volume up on it. By having poor crowds, it takes away the meaning of success in PES, especially in the Master League and other competitions, it creates an "empty" feeling. You want to strive for something other than silverware, you want fan appreciate and status, which can only be determined properly on a game through crowd noise. Scoring a goal, or even just in general - having your fans singing loudly, constantly waving flags, flares, throwing toilet paper rolls, banging drums and even blowing trumpets all make for a cracking atmosphere (maybe not all simultaneously of course).

As Blade1889 mentioned as well in this thread, having the camera cut to your fans after a goal would be great, especially in away matches - imagine the camera from a distance looking at a silent stadium minus a small corner of your fans jumping up and down. It would add to the excitement, and the whole "me against the world" mentality of the Master League, I'd love it. Of course I wouldn't want these camera views and special shots every goal, or even every match, but just maybe 1 out of a few matches to maintain it's prestige.

PES has allways lacked some good atmosphere sounds, i would like to hear a erruption sound when i score in the last minute a winning goal! And booing once the away side is approaching my goal. And if the away team scores a small amount of cheering and yelling by the far less amount of away-supporters, that would be awesome and much more realistic.

The yelling sounds of the supporters should also be country-orientated. In Spain the yelling sounds really different like for instance the UK.

Furthermore the amount of chants should be increased and randomised, when you for instance play as Man U the only thing that you hear is "United, United, United" which frustrates my girlfriend when i am playing PES in the living room, now that is a good excuse isn't it? :)

the liverpool fans sound irish and also they sing incredibly slow. i'd rather have bog-standard crowd sounds than an insultingly bad imitation.

but either way sod the crowd sounds, just fix the gameplay

Yes! A booming sound, wild cheering when you score a huge comeback goal at the 90th+ minute, camera shaking and everything, the commentator out of his mind! That's the atmosphere that has been missing from PES.

The crowd getting ramped up, amping the noise when you soar through the wings approaching goal on a counter attack, or when you step clean into the area clear to take your shot, and larger than life "AAAWWWWWWWWWWWW" If it goes wide.

Come on Konami, step it up with the sound already!
