Please somebody help me coz I'm thick. I have an Xsata. I have found the PES 2009 folder in Xport I have V2 new kits already extracted how the smeg do I physically put the files into the the Xbox. Someone tell me before I hit myself with something heavy. I've tried clicking and dragging I've tried swearing and threatening behaviour but none of the above work.

I have an enquiry I'm hoping you can help with...
After much ball aching and annoyance, I managed to get the option file onto my hard drive a couple of months back. I have since done some editing (for reasons such as wanting Walcott to be able to sprint away from players like G. Neville and help the realism [in my opinion!])

My question is this - how can I transfer the options file with my edited stats from my hard drive onto my mates hard drive so that when we're at each others houses, the stats, kits etc are the same? He presently has 'normal' option file (not Daymos') but he's edited some things like team names etc...

He also has a memory card so I was hoping that would mean it can be done - however a step by step guide would be mega...?!

Hey mate

You will have to just copy V1 or V2 onto your men card and then copy over your own edit data instead of mine (only if u have made changes that I haven't)
Make sure all the 130+ uniform data files are there otherwise the kits will have no logos on them.

As for ur friends data.. There is no way to blend the 2.. It's either your file or his..

Cheers for the response - I thought it would be as simple as that... which puzzles me as I must have done something wrong when I tried it and it didn't work!

I put the memory card into my xBox, copied the many, many files over one at a time using the dashboard, then put his hard drive in and copied everything back off the memory card - again one by one. Then when I went to load up Pro using his hard drive, it took a while to load the Edit Settings so I thought it worked, but all the team were just renamed (the extent of his 'editing') and none of your kits or my stats were in there?

Are there now 2 option/edit files in there and his game is only using the 1st or have I not done the copy correctly??

Your doing the right thing.. For some reason the game keeps both edit data files..

U have to be brave and erase both files and the recopy the edit data from ur mem card..

Hey how are you Daymos I have a question for you or even to anyone who is willing to answer it.

One question, are the team emblems saved on the Edit data file or are they saved separately just like the kit sponsors and logos?

To sum it up I have created many new players and edited ALOT of stats based on your V1 Option file and my main question is do I have to completely overwrite this edit data file. Thanks in advance.

I bought an Xsata which is a complete waste of money coz I cannot transfer files to my xbox. Has anyone else had this problem and was you able to do it ( please tell me how) What is the other method using a memory card and what sort of equipment do I need. Ps anyone wanna buy a Xsata, one previous pissed off owner lots of blue sparkly lights soon to have a new edition hammer sticking out of it.

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has confirmed the content of its latest free download for PES 2009 for PLAYSTATION®3, Xbox 360 and PC-DVD.

Due for download at the end of February, the update will bring all club sides' rosters in line with all the moves and transfers made before the end of the January 2009 transfer window. Right, here it is guys. Today I got my Xport 360 through the post. I spent about 2 hours wondering why I couldn't get into partition 3 on my 60gb hd. Then trawled through the internet and realised the software probably needed updating. I managed to download v1,10 which would let me into partition 3 - Hurrah! However...when I go to the correct place - as mentioned in this thread (000000001 etc) and create the subfolders that someone mentioned, when I try to drag and drop extracted files across it tells me there is not enough space for the file. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP BEFORE I GO INSANE. I've been at this for 3 1/2 hours now. I can't find a link to v1.12 (to see if that makes a difference) and the latest version on the codejunkies site doesn't install properly. HELP, HELP, HELP - PLLEEAAASSEEEEEE!

Finally managed to download Xport v2.0 and that's solved the 'not enough space for file' problem. Now it's crashing at kit 65 but having looked all the way back through this thread (pg 24 or 25 I think) it seems I need to transfer across the first 50 kits to the Xbox then load up PES and alter something (like changing Arsenal to Arsenal FC) and save it. Then go back and use the xport to transfer the rest of the data over. Load up PES again and change back Arsenal - job's a good 'un. Does that sound about right? Going to give it a go tonight!

What version of Xport software are you using? I was having a similar problem to you until I down loaded V2.0 from the codejunkies website...
