What I think you should do with V2

Hey daymos great work on your original option file by the way can't wait for V2

Just want to say that I think instead of doing the championship, you could just take the first twenty requests for teams by posters, this way I think most people would be satisfied, I'd like to see BATE Borisov in the file please, (wanna get a full champions league)

Daymos I'd be full in support of a Championship file, what I wouldn't give to rape the scummers on PES again. Any help I could give (though I'm not sure what I could do) I'd certainly give it a go and try and lend a hand.

The club is as big as it ever was,, just the team isnt, ya clown!!!!:lol:
and we still are in the top 5 of most supported clubs in England!!:w00t

Guys, how do I action this option file....I have downloaded it onto a USB stick but now have absolutely no idea how to upload it onto my xbox in order to activate it....have tried various things but can't get it to work...HELP?!?!?

If one of you could email me how to do this to [email protected] that would be greatly appreciated!!

Hey guys, first post here and it's of course about a problem.

Yesterday I installed xsata and tranferred the optionfile to my xbox. I did everything correct and it all worked as it should (looked brilliant btw, cheers daymos).Then I turned the xbox off for a while and when I switched it back on the game wouldn't start up. It's just the screen with the stars in the bottom left. Should also add that the disc-reader stops running when i'm starting the game.

Anybody has any ideas?

Try loading the game or any game without the hd or men cards connected

This will tell you if there's a problem with ur hd or cd drive..

If it's the cd drive.. It sounds like an unfortunate coincidence.. If it's the hd.. It could have got damaged at some point..

I haven't used xsata but is that the one where u connect ur hd direct to the pc??

If so extra care must be taken when connecting, disconnecting...

sorry mate... the last msg I did from the iphone and because u have no time to waste ie battling the dumb predictive text and random resets etc..

I find i have to be direct to get the msg sent before I loose what I was writing...

but yeah looking back at the post.. its all doom and gloom lol.. well the 3rd option i forgot to mention could be your disk is scratched.. haha..

What are you trying to do mate..?

when u say create an option file.. im not sure what u mean..

put a memory card in the 360 and format it.. load up pro 2009 and then save something in the edit data..

Now if your able to connect your mem card to the pc.. drag and drop the files from this OF and copy all the 130 or so files into the mem card..

then if this is done.. copy the data on the mem card into your 360 via the xbox dashboard..

load up the game and you should have all the edited kits and names etc..

After that I shut 360xplorer down and stopped the USB-connection, after that i pulled the usb-cable out.

Then I restarted the xbox and boom the option-file was there.

Took a quick break and when I started up again the "unreadable disc"-message came out?

Dosent sound too good.. does any other game work..?

MS will tell you that you may have invalidated the warrenty by using the cheat device..

if so dont tell them.. just say it randomly stopped working just like that and if your still in warrenty then u may get it repaired or replaced..

spoke to the support shortly and told em exactly what you said, that it just stopped working. they told me that it could be the disc(yeah right) and that I should contact them again if it wasn't anything wrong with the disc so that I could send them the box.

gaaaah, why me...


EDIT; apparently it could be the disc, I have an mysterious round scratch on my disc, heard something about the perfect scratch?

Trust me.. a scratched disk is the better problem to have out of the other options avaiable...

Sounds like a laser burn. My friend's PES suffered the same problem, however it was because he knocked his Xbox over. You can't take PES back to a shop and get it replaced as the laser burn is the fault of your Xbox meaning it's Microsoft's responsibility and not that of the game. I know all of this because this is exactly what I was told by the manager of GAME only a few days ago as I took my friend's PES 2009 back due to the same problem. The Xbox 360 can easily churn and laser burn a disc, and this happens for several reasons, such as knocking it, or even something as minor as walking past the console if your Xbox is placed on the floor.

Your only hope if it is indeed a circular scratch right around the disc (laser burn) is to take it to GAME and ask them to perform a disc repair. This is what I did with my friend's PES 2009, it costs £2.99 and there is no guarantees that the game will work after but it's definetely worth a shot. Thankfully my mate's PES 2009 did work fine after the disc repair, and being honest, he had a pretty bad laser burn as he knocked his Xbox over from the standing position flat onto the floor and churned the disc. So I can see your game being repaired successfully, just take it to GAME and get the disc repaired.

In theory ..

You could buy the game from a supermarket.. swap the game with your one within an hour or so and go back.. saying you bought the game for a present but your lil cousin has it already..

Supermarkets are lazy when it comes to checking games.. unlike HMV or Game

Sometimes they dont even look in the box when doing a return... (err so ive heard) lol

Again this is just theoretical talk and should not be confused with the real world...
