Hey I went online for the 1st time with my new 50mb virgin broadband and to my surprise I had 3 perfect games with no lag

I also have not updated since the December boots and balls konami update and I had no trouble finding people to play. (I think its v1.3.3 and the current version is v1.6.6 I think)

So until I cant find any games online I don’t think I will make a new version just yet for the sake of 1 champion’s league ball and an extra boot.

Only gripe is that if we require stupidly fast broadband speeds just to get online games working smoothly then we still have a problem for the masses.


Another bit of info.

I contacted konami months ago to tell them what myself and Cowson have been doing for the community

I wanted to know their views on what we do.

I gave them a summary of the 100's of emails received each week quoting msgs like. If it weren’t for your option file I would buy fifa etc

Constructively we offered to help in the next instalment even if it’s to give feedback on how this edit mode can be improved as we know it inside and out.


They replied this week and will get back to me shortly.

Now they make tell me that what were doing is illegal or something silly like that or they may actually give praise for what we do and utilise the skills we have.


Or they could be stubborn and tell me that my contribution does not actually make a difference to their sales. Etc.


All is positive at the moment and ill let you know what they say.

I hope they don’t insult me and take the Pi$$ because I don’t really want to play fifa next year (even though it has its merits)

Im sad to hear you wont be doing an update with the new DLC from Konami coz the last time I tried to get a game online I sat for over 10 mins waiting to connect to someone and then just gave up.

I would also love to play online with an updated Celtic team from the Janaury window.

Would I be as well trying Jons OF on this site?

How do I go about doing my own. I had downloaded and transferred to my game your V2 OF only I then edited all the teams in the game to play more attacking in the assisted settings.

Do I save my OF from my xbox hard drive to my memory stick then download Konami's DLC and then re-apply the OF?

Its digital rights management where MS basically wont allow you to do what you attempted..

You would have to bring your whole system (Xbox 360 and HD) to your mates house or take your mates machine over to your house and install it all on his HD.

Only problem now is that some people have this trouble playing offline and some option file.. (i cant tell you how unfortunatly as i dont know the answer)

Couple of questions.

I downloaded this OF and put it onto my HD. So far, so good, I can use it offline.

My dad still plays PES and I want to get the OF on his Xbox. He's going to get Xbox live as I did attempt to use my account on his system and do it that way but it wouldn't work.

He only has an Arcade system with about 350mb of memory. Will the OF transfer and work on this or does he need a HD?

Also just to clear it up - what Konami updates do you need? I downloaded the first two. I haven't touched any from this year and it seems to be fine.

I tried to install Konami Patch to my HD but the problem was this patch is for PES2010. Anyone have patch for Winning Eleven 2010?

Stu1983.. your doing everything correct but the last issue regasrding getting the patch to work on an machine with no HD is a task..

I tried last year and if i remember corectly i think i got it to work but i had to be connected to live for it to work..

Hey

Just put this patch on my xbox using the USB stick method. When i go to copy it from my USB to the hard drive, one of the files is corrupt. Deleted it and copied the rest over anyway and loaded up the game. All the kits and stuff are perfect but all the club names and badges etc are all default

Tried deleting everything off the USB and putting it back on but again one of the files was corrupt...anyone have any idea why?

Ive havent dloaded the later konami updates but when I get my net connection back this week ill see if ill fix the bugs and release a pre summer OF..

Now with the v2 option file you will need internet connection to get the konami updates and you may need it while your playing it.

So I downloaded the option file D&C Pro2010 Elite OF v2a TAPAS (XBOX360) by the use of a USB stick . It took me a while to figure it out even with the tutorial.

The OF is great. Superjob there.
So i have this noob question. I really dont bother with the leagues anymore. I want to play with national teams and only them. Why are the names not correct in the national teams of Serbia, Nigeria and so on? I know I can edit teams and transfer the players which I am doing at the moment but I wonder why there is such a problem.

Im nearly certain that the first time I installed the patch and played an exhibition match with Nigeria that all the names were correct but when i started a CUP they were gone again and only Martins was right.

Another question is why dont we have a patch on the xbox to fix the missing Algeria and New Zealand from World Cup.

WTH were Konami thinking they have Bahrain in the game and not New Zealand which is ridiculous since they played the play off match from Asia.
Uzbekistan is there totally useless. I suspect that Konami read one of my posts in the spring of 2009 at soccergaming.com where i suggested Uzbekistan in the game. I proposed it as a joke so when i saw it in the game i was just speechless. Dont everybody think at Konami?:shocking:

I think you misunderstood me, I have the USB transfer method working and am enjoying the 1.5 Version very much! But I, always wanting more , was just curious what would happen if I'd use the 2.0 option file on a game that has not been updated with the DLC

And since my console does not have internet access I was wondering if the DLC can be downloaded from somewhere else

(but hey, I'm not complaining, I'm finally enjoying the game how it should have been!)

Oh sorry i must have mis read..

If you try installing v2 without the konami updates then you will get an error msg saying that this game save is from a different version

What you can do is dload v2 and copy over the 200 uniform files (not edit data) and use them with your v1.5

Basically most of the kit logos were polished for v2 so it will work in your 1.5

Could you (or anyone with this file loaded onto their xbox?) please tell me what uniform numbers (in your OF) is the South Africa kits (added in v2 maybe?!). Just saves me installing yours back n forth. Then i could add to my DLC compatible OF of yours

Off the top of my head i couldnt tell you but ill have a look this week and give you a shout.

I think there was approx 4 or 5 international kits that wasnt complete and a few had at least the nike or puma logo etc.

Hm, without any thought i went on and downloaded konamis updates when i had problem playing online with a friend. I have the D&C v2 full english. The only thing i noticed is that a lot of the championship teams have 2-3 players with numbers instead of names? Could this be solved by installing the v2 patch again?
