People still blaming Adam for this makes my head hurt....

Of course this is not 100% his fault, but he is the face of the company in Europe so he should expect to receive the brunt of the criticism. What makes it hard to have sympathy with him is the way he conducts himself on Twitter. Blocking people who have been critical but cival. I'm not having this 'death threats' distraction. They are the idiot minority that is on every twitter account. (Not saying that's your opinion, just I've seen many using this to supress legitimate criticism.)

The misleading info he gives (wilfully or not) "Hey all, apologies for the roster delay for offline modes, not ideal. PERSONALLY working on tonnes of things to make 29th Oct a better day." Then nothing to do with him.

Also his apologies seem completely insincere.

Latest one "Sorry again for the issue, we'll update everyone impacted ASAP"

How about at least pretending you care, 'I'm gutted/ashamed with the completely unacceptable mistakes we've made. Heads are gonna roll.' Or something of that nature. Grovel!! At least make me feel like I matter to Konami even if I don't.

Whether you accept it or not the guy is costing PES customers.

I have seen Bhatti now starting to lay claim that that is his personal Twitter account so basically not feeding ground for PES fans. Probably best for him to stop making announcements on there if that is the case; but it won't stop him.

Maybe he should have a locked Twitter account for personal/friends and a public one as Adam Bhatti PES European Brand Manager (or whatever it is.) Then he can't use that excuse as if he is doing us a massive favour.

It's sad cos PES is really close to being a great game of footy.

At least I've got Klopp to cheer me up.

Take your point, but that means that Konami still get our hard earned money with no incentive to improve their customer service.

It's a genuine shame as I feel (GKs and Refs aside) that this year has probably seen the best overall product in a number of years, only to be tainted by the poor customer service experience.

I vowed after the initial shambles of PES 14 that I would never pay for another PES until it was clear that Konami were putting in the work to earn the money I was working for to give them. I bought 15 but I have yet to pay for 16.

Lets just say there are ways to obtain the game for free and although I would never normally endorse any behaviour of this kind I would just say that there is only so much a customer should put up with before taking drastic action.

I think the years of blind support (just buying the games upon release every year regardless of quality, lack of customer respect or indeed customer loyalty) has created a legacy of neglect and belief that Konami can get away with anything - literally churn out half-finished broken muck expecting us to not only fork out straight away but also sit patiently waiting either for the patch (I mean wtf shouldn't a game be ready before release?) or the next edition of the series. Think about it, we're almost beginning to expect and accept a broken game and expect a later-date solution, in the form of the Oct patch?

We have to stop!

Well, I for one haven't paid this year and I am so glad I didn't - like I said before I normally don't endorse this sort of thing but I've simply had enough. I mean why continue to care about a company and give them consistent financial support when they clearly don't give a shit about you?

It's breaking my heart that this company (one that I have loved and respected for years) are treating their community this way. It takes a lot for a company to turn extreme loyalty in extreme distain - but they've done just that with me because now I utterly hate Konami and their practices and won't ever pay for another Konami game until I feel that they deserve it.

Now I know how the Chelsea players feel!

I notice Konami have deleted their original press release which said "Squads current as of 30/08", trying to cover their tracks!

... so we just have to wait another two months until they get the winter transfers done.

Is that official? How do you know? So that means Jan 1 we get correct rosters. Then by Jan 2 they are actually outdated? Incredible.
:shocking:

He doesn't get off so easily, he has fed PES players a plethora of deception and nonchalance. He's a charlatan who doesn't even know much about the game and its heritage. He's a showman, a conman, is an egotistical so and so.

Nah, he needs to be sacked/'shuffled', and Konami needs to get a new PR person!

My main problem is not the transfers, I use to edit the Data by myself always, and after one year master league the players has transfered to other clubs so this is not a problem. I have worries about hours of editing destroyed by unprofessional Konami Data Pack Updates... Again my question... If I update with Data Pack 2.0, after editing the whole Bundesliga, my plan is not updating squads, as it was an option in the Data Pack 1.0. So I think I wouldn't have a mess in my edited data... Am I guessing right?

What the fuck does this even mean?

Like the great John Oliver said... "If you want to do something evil, make it boring".
I think they are trying to use the fact that 'all licensed teams will need to approve the squads appearing under their name' as some sort of defense..

Where have you seen this? Is this confirmed?

Let's all just resolve to ignore that bobbling piece of bad PR music from now on, if you have been (or have seen him) deceive us users.

That's it. Not buying PES at full price anymore. I'd rather wait for february every-year and get the game on super low sell than wait for it like I do now with my full price money on the hands of thieves.

Fuck Konami.

Let's not forget when he said Option File looked good to go "time to party" just to help sell the game. I don't believe most of what he says anymore. What exactly hasn't he not lied to us about yet?

Yeah you're right. Unfortunately there are too many examples from him. He is either a liar, thick or a really bad salesman/pr guy. In the long run he is bad for PES/Konami.
Does anyone know his professional background? Just wondering, as if this his 'style' of selling there will be a trail of these tactics.

Iirc he used to work on WENB then moved to Konami, somehow. That's as much as I know about him though really.

Hi gamers

The updated transfers should be done and included in the game when PES 2016 was first released. I can never understand why it is so hard and troublesome for KONAMI to simply release a new PES game with fully updated transfer squads, it cant be forgiven. KONAMI is filled with lazy assholes who dont give a shit about their work or what!!!

I dont have the internet connections, so I wont get patch updates and other stuff, not bothered much by that. You know what, if you even get the fully updated squads, you probably wont enjoy PES 2016 a lot as you expected, because there are obvious game flaws like bad goalies, blind referees, unstoppable scripting goals on Super star LV, etc. PES 2016 should be much better than PES 2015, but after playing 16 more than a month on Super star LV, I cant help wanting to play PES 2015 all over again, actually will get a pre owed PES 2015 on PS4 over chrismas, as I dont think PES 2016 will last me untill next year, the game gets a bit boring for me, I managed to use AC milan to beat nearlly all top class teams including R.madrid, Barca, Bayern, Athlectico madrid, chelsea, Paris saint germans, Juventus on SS lv, away game, form arrows all red up, in Exhibition match. Athough in ML, some matches are still very tough, but in general PES 2016 is gradually losing its magic on me. I am a video game addict, at the moment playing Blood borne, its a great game. Not like in PES 2016, if AI decides to fuck you up, that will be your doom. In bloodborne, the boss fight is hard and fair, if you fail, its your own fault.

Even PES 2016 is not that satisfying for me, I still want to keep it. Have not tried FIFA 16 yet, might give it a shot soon.

Good luck
