Actually it is down to Fifa having better gameplay. PES has been stuck in the Past and never moved forward.

Where as Fifa has just moved forward time after time and Fifa 13 is no different. Just watching off screen games of it you can tell the new A.I run system works, the new theme of unpredictability is there and tweaks to the collision engine are obvious and the new 360 movement/dribble thing.

Add in to the tweaks to Career mode, Ultimate team and other aspects and it once again pushes the football gaming scene forward.

Obviously though the true extent of all this will be know on September 11

PES 13 is the first PES (going by the first demo) that I can actually play since PES 6. The rest have been horrid, yes, Horrid.
Everyone is welcome to their own opinion i guess.

It doesn't even seem like FIFA13 is promising anything new. First touch, meh...they seem to use the improved AI as an afterthought. I think we all know what that means.

but it does ruin my last meal every time I hear EA going on about the social advances they made in the game. Look at the FIFA13 website or any of the E3/Gamescon video pieces....they go directly to the social aspect of the game and skip right past the game play itself. Maybe they know most FIFA players are playing it for the social aspect, but that shouldn't mean they forget about the other 99%.

Yep.

We're are talking about 2 games trying to do the same thing but in different ways. So in the end it comes down to preference and obviously the 10+ million who buy Fifa year in year out prefer Fifa. Which I might add is the Majority..........Just saying.

How ever............I said previously the first PES 13 demo seems as though they are moving in the right direction but the second demo should be more an indication of the final product and if that is better then who knows what the future holds.

All I know is, Is that this year I will be getting both titles for the first time ever assuming the second PES demo and Fifa demo shine.

When does the PC one come out?
Sometime in September, but no release date's been announced yet.

Also, for 360 dribbling being in FIFA Shaun, it is present and its better implemented than in PES. In PES, a player can run top speed in a straight line without going slightly left or right even if they're Terry which is impossible because of momentum changes.

I went into my local Gamestation on Saturday. Had a good look around. Loads of fifa 13 ads on walls, And empty cases on racks, Pre order shite all over. Diden't even see pes on up coming release chart!. Asked one of the annoying "can i fucking help you guys" when the new pes was out (Even tho i know). He said, Oh not got a date for that yet... Now surely there's ONE reason why fifa outsells pes.

Considering how much money GAMESTATION/GAME owe EA, its hardly surprising they are pushing their products. Without EA's backing GAMESTATION/GAME cannot stock EA titles. So there you have it ... EA has the major Video Game retailer by the balls. So to speak.

I think most sensible people buy from Tesco or Asda now, they're vastly better on pricing than GS or GAME.

Agreed. Wasen't that long ago when i went to gamestation to get tiger woods 13 and they coulden't stock it because they owed Ea serious money. Probably around £4.50 knowing ea!. Tesco are quite good on games. Blockbuster ain't to bad either

Isn't like that in mine.

But then Fifa is a big seller so makes sense to advertise it...........Just like Black ops 2 will get similar treatment but will that be the reason it sells more than Halo.........Nope.

Yes it is, I'll agree to that, however my point was that it isn't and it won' be true 360 degrees. The animations just mask i really well though.

I would just like to add, if fifa didnt have the licences there is no way they would sell 10+ million. I am not starting a flame war , i just believe this to be the case.:)

It helps to be sure. Ain't nobody denying that but that isn't the Dominant reason people buy it.

Fifa is generally bought by mothers/fathers for their kids. EAsports are fully aware that this is the case and make their game a very pickup and play game.

Fifa in no way replicates a true simulation of football, it's like every game is played on an ice rink. There is really no individuality in the players and every team plays the exact same way

Since fifa 9 onwards it's become an arcadey kick about, and that's it.

I still look forward to see how fifa 13 turns out though.

I think PC demo 2 will never be released....They might be afraid from using it for cracking the upcoming full game maybe ?

Not at all, i'm telling it as i see it. Just because fifa sells so many copies does not mean it's the better game no way.

As said before..........."Better" or "Quality" Is subjective and is totally dependent on personnel preference.

But then my laughing had nothing to do with sales or your perceived opinion on it's quality

I'm not going to say that I agree or disagree, but, how is PES different than FIFA in that respect?

Or are you going to tell me that, PES, a game with no midfield battles, is a true simulation of football?

How can anybody argue that FIFA is pick up and play (it is), yet that PES is not pick up and play?

Don't be a fan, be honest.
