I'm just speculating here but perhaps the update itself is to apply the kits and boots to the game. Whereas asking if you'd like to update your save data could mean the application of these new boots to certain players, no?

It certainly sounds like that judging by what Hunter has said.

The boots were applied to some of the more well known players indeed yeah. Not sure what the question from Konami implied then. Strange.

I downloaded the DLC and it does not have any effects on Daymos super OF.

This game does not compare to anything of the past its really superb.

Thanks OnlyProEvo. Just to let people know, I clicked "No" when it asked if I would like to overwrite my data, and my Daymos & Macheda option file is still in tact and untouched, and I have all the new boots too.

For the update before this one, I clicked "yes", it was fine. Strange.

Well, it's just that we both clicked a different option to each other, but it seemed to have the same effect.

nope, this season is PSG 40 year anniversary and they r using the red kit as the home one and the blue one as the away kit.

only a few kits changed in the french league, but mainly added sponsors to the already existing kits. for example: Arles, Montpellier, Nice, etc.

and the Ireland away kit also changed

hahaha yeah no such thing as a pure motive but updating advertising works for me - just wish we could have some control over those KONAMI electronic boards ourselves...

A message for those still wondering:

Clicking "Yes" when it asks you to overwrite the Edit file does not get rid of your option file or edited player stats.

It was weird when I went straight to my ML after downloading the DLC. Many of my players wearing new boots. Inluding Elmander, Kroos (both Predator X I think), Criscito. Those are the notable ones, I'm sure there are others though. Decent bit of free DLC. Can't complain.

i was hoping to see the new Internacional kits ...maybe next time
at least we have more options for boots now, nice one Konami!
