Dribbling:
''I feel like playing against 11 Messi. Every player is able to dribble 10 defenders and score... Dribbling is so ridiculously bugged and there is no way to stop it.''

Man... I agree with you when you say this part.

Konami improved the game, a lot!

However... they exaggerated a bit. When I play PES 12 I feel the same thing you do. No matter what I do, sometimes is impossible to stop the player coming towards my defense. Ok, if it was Messi, C.Ronaldo, Robben.. it's ok. They are really good!... But even a player with overall of 69..74... makes a mess in my defense. Come on! This is not realism, at all!!!!.....

Well... I hope I'll learn it... afterall, i've just bought the game.

mate this game is the worst soccer game i ever played... i just ran out of words to describe it :ninja:

i told you not to buy it

well the funny thing was that i tried downloading the pirated iso off of thepiratebay. TWICE. and the same glitch still is there with the official copy of the DVD install. FUUUUUUUCK. I even thought it was my graphics card, and proceeded to find the newest drivers for it. fucking complete waste of my Saturday morning.

Sorry I'm new here. If i'm crossing any line about swearing i apologize. 430 am local time and trying to fix it with this freaking patch that some generous fellow recommended earlier in the other thread.

Because know one else stepped up and no other developer creates a better football game. AND BTW, STOP PLAYING ONLINE AND JUDGING THE GAME BASED ON ONLINE. ONLINE SUCKS IN FOOTBALL GAMES. Reason being that the games are NEVER 100% user skill based when online.

Yes even the overrated pes 6 had this problem. Even in 1vs1 offline against a human. It was never 100% user skill based. And that's where it gets unfair.

Im playing offline and honestly the game is a joke and an insult to football games, kinda like the past few years of fifa, but at least they keep improving lately while pes only really made a major leap last year, this year they went two steps forward and three steps back.

I know I am right. Football games are NEVER 100% user skill based.
It depends on many factors not just your skill level and usually, there's way too much AI DECIDING FACTOR in it.

You are completely wrong about fifa. They made a step in the right direction, especially by toning down the pressure a bit and making close control slightly more effective, BUT THE COST?
Every player can turn at ridiculous angles regardless of his abilities
The cpu AI is abysmal
Attacking patterns are too shallow
Tactical defending is a hit and miss
Spots on the pitch where standing tackles will never work

The list goes on. These issues are extremely poor programming. So be careful when you say that fifa is improving, because although they a made a step in the right direction, they completely destroyed other important factors and made the worst things of fifa 11, even worse.

I do not hate fifa 12, I hate THE EASY WAY OUT THE DEVELOPERS TOOK, TO MAKE IT LOOK DIFFICULT and I also hate the fact that I never feel safe. ;)

As for pes 12. Seriously, it is not nearly as bad as you're saying.
Pes 11, although a good game had it's annoying problems and had that through ball glitch where the only way to surpass the defence was with a through ball simply because they outran the attackers and the response was SOOO low. Do not get me wrong, I defended pes 11, because I do like the game, however, I always mentioned these bad things.

Yes in pes 12, the close control is a bit too close and the standing tackles aren't on par with the attacking options. But, the user defensive skill lever has increased dramatically from pes 11 (which was fairly easy to defend).
The attacking options are more open in pes 12
The AI movement destroys that of pes 11
Curled shots work much better
Timing is much more important
The goal variation is even better and the unexpectedness of the game has also increased

Seriously, the list goes on of what's better in pes 12, but I am not here to argue, I am simply pointing out that pes 12 is not as bad as you're saying.

The only things they need to do is:
Tone down the close control, though NOT BY MUCH
Make standing tackles more effective. That way it'll balance out the game even more
And add more MIDFIELD pressure. This is highly important and it is a bit missing from the game.

But seriously, for the annoying things that pes 12 has, the good side outweighs the bad side in my view.

and pes 2012 is a whole problem itself... and by the way an idiot is saying that pes 2012 is just a game well yeah i have to agree with that but what i am trying to say is if i wanted to play a science fiction game i would buy half life or something... i dont fucking buy a supposed to be football simulation and discover that im playing science ficition :w00t :w00t :w00t :w00t :karl:

Those 3 issues are almost game breaking stuff because they make the game so much worse.

And there are also other problems and issues, those 3 are not the only ones.

The crossing issue is enough not to play the game.

You don't even have to look up! Just hit the ball (from ANYWHERE in the attacking 1/2) and watch as konami fires it in perfectly to the ONE person in the box EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME!!!

I was only pointing out that pes 12 does have some positives that some of you are not even seeing.

You may say that the issues of pes 12 are game breakers which in my view aren't, HOWEVER, for some the issues that pes 11 had were gamebreakers. Seriously, the issues of pes 11 weren't small time at all, however I hate the fact that every pes game has to have this bad side that make it look unfinished.

Pes 12 could have been great if it was more finished. However IT IS NOT A BAD GAME. I like playing it. My view. :)
