Sony are cunts. Not dropping the price in Europe? The fuck are they playing at? You'll be able to get an 80GB PS3 in America for £125 less than what a 60GB will cost in UK.

According to Sony, it will be the same price here because they will be "adding a couple of games and controllers to the bundle, to make it overall better package". But maybe I don't want the games they wish to give in the offer, maybe I wish to buy a cheaper console and buy games separately?

I'm seriously contemplating getting a 360 now. But Killzone/MGS look so mighty fine :crymore:

You can't really blame 'em, nowt much out....but with Halo, possibly CoD4 and of course Pro Evo coming, we'd be set. GTA has multi-player too, I dunno if it'll be on Live like Saints Row though.

I was supposed to get an Xbox Live Gold Membership last weekend, but I decided against it for the moment as there isn't much out. I'll be getting it around the time GTA comes out, mainly to play that online ( Obviously ). If I get Halo as you guys will, I'll give you lot a game.

Metal Gear Solid 4 looks amazing. I wish it was coming out for 360. I've played on all recent one's aswell. Killzone looks pretty impressive too. Assassin's Creed looks nice, although what's with the ghostly effect's around the target and his men ? Most probably there so you can instantly recognize them, truth be told.

SmackDown! vs Raw 2008 looks promising at the moment and I'm debating whether to get that and GTA, or PES and GTA. Most probably PES and GTA, then I can ask for Assassin's Creed and SmackDown! vs Raw 2008 for my Birthday. Sorted.

Gta news from E3
a one-time five-minute demonstration of GTA IV was shown to a group of people in a secure room this morning at the E3 event in California. No recordings were allowed, and it will never see the light of day. However, I have been in contact with someone that saw it, and while they wrote their own brief summary, I have been able to ask follow-up questions.

IGN's Patrick Kolan is who I spoke with, and I first asked him about the map he saw when the game was paused. He said that he remembers seeing two large islands connected in the middle and that the two large islands were divided vertically, meaning that it somewhat resembles the Vice City map. However, remember that the map may have been zoomed in to one area where there happen to be two islands.

Second, Devin Winterbottom was one of the developers showing the demo, but Kolan was unable to catch who the second person was. Winterbottom is on the production team.

Lastly, at least one source mentioned seeing planes in the skies during the demo. Kolan told me that "there was a plane over the water at one point."

It's basically all city. I suppose you could count the Central Park adaptation as countryside, and the poor areas of Bohan (Harlem I think) to be suburbs, similar to Grove Street in San Andreas. But there won't be any very secluded areas where people won't access, roads should be very close to wherever you are on the map.

I don't think we'll get planes, the prospect of steering them into the Empire State etc will make U.S. politicians die twice over ¬_¬

I'm not sure what to make of it. Star Wars games are always hit and miss. They're either very good, or very bad. But it certainly looks like it has the potential to be great.
