right now my favourite player is Odonkor (german) but all time - i liked stoikavic on the early pes's and also Da Silva from the default ML team.

Also, can anyone remember the name of the player who played left mid for the default ML team on iss evoloution 1 and 2?

Adriano, who gloriously brought me the treble with his amazing goals.. In my current team Ben-Hatira, only 17 and already playing really well.. the rest of my team is absolute crap though ;-)

Deco has always been my faviourite player in the PES series, I just like to have him sitting in midfield and dictating the play.

overall throughout all the versions of the game he's been in davids has always been quality use to be one of the first players i'd buy and still looks good on pes6 though not bought him

In the last three series Lawal has been amazing for me. Recoba, Ezquerro and Batistuta are also up there.

Ivanov until PES5 where he dissapeared. Nihat during all the series and Cavenaghi was my favourite striker on PES4.

It has to be Babangida from the earlier verisons - loads of assists and phenominal pace - he disappeared for a couple of versions but he's back in PE6 aged 24!!!!
Other players of note - Adriano (great shooting), Fabregas in ML mode, Kuyt (PES5), Basturk & the unstoppable Henry!!

Jefferson Farfan in PES 4 easily, scored 120 goals in 2 and a half seasons for me in all competitions. Paired with Adriano, who never got a chance at goal thanks to Farfan

How come no mention of zico!?!
I know everyones exploited his long-shots at some point or another.

But for me it has to be the greatest of all time imo, Garrincha or Gannarin or..whatever they call him now.

The ability to dribble past 7 players is too alluring.

I believe this is the brother of the other Babangida, Haruna Babangida.. I remember that Babangida's younger brother played for Barcelona B and was supposed to be even better than Tijjani. Haruna now plays for Olympiakos Piraeus and is aged 24.
