Arthur Cuntsborough managed to break into the Luton Town first team after 7 games in the reserves....but a goal on his debut was not enough to stop a 1-1 draw against arch-rivals Brentford.
Can you get subbed or dropped for games on be a pro mode? I can't imagine Luton doing that because they're shit but from the good teams?

You don't get subbed unless you request it (which lowers your match rating).
I, too, drew against my rivals - I was too busy trying to score myself that I wasted lots of chances - we drew 0-0. It's the only game so far I haven't scored in, since becoming a first team player (currently a Fan Favourite - I presume the next step is First Team Captain)

Does it actually half their ratings though? I think it's just telling you it's not their best position, because it doesn't change their stats or anything...

As is the advantage rule!!!! the other night me and a few mates had a tourney before we went out, I won 5 in a row and on my 6th game it was 2-2 and only a couple of minutes left in extra time, I was running through 1 on 1 with the keeper and my mate slide tackled me from behind-he caught me but I stayed up and the ref played advantage, I went on and scored...but just as the ball went in the ref pulled it back for a free kick!!!! I was fucking raging! I hit the wall and got a corner from the freekick-my mate broke away and scored a winner!

Just had a thought, everyone should list their online gamertags PS3/360 or whatever and get a game going, I can never find enough people for a league or to create a club or that...

Halving their ratings was an exaggeration, but it does reduce them a lot. It means I have to do loads of tedious player switching to valuate who is the best overall - it's not as easy to swap players as PES is, it's really sluggish.
And I have experienced that advantage thing you mention - I was beating Man City in the crunch game I earlier described on here 4-0, they pulled one back, then Jo lobbed Reina from outside the box, while Reina clattered into Jo. It went in, but the advantage was played and the ref went back and gave a free kick - and didn't give Reina a card.

if you want to change your fifa avatar: you have to go to the ea sports world website and 'purchase' new items with the points you win whilst playing ea sports games. yesterday I changed my avatar guy but it hasn't shown up changed when I pla fifa, anyone know why?

I've just made an account on EA Sports World. Now what do I do to make my own avatar? Please talk me through the steps.
And by the way, my ID on the EA Sports World website is different to my PSN ID, does that matter?
And how do I link my EA account to my PSN ID so when I sign into the EA servers on my PS3, the new avatar pops up?
When I linked my GamerTag with EA, in the 'My Account' settings, there's a place for you to insert your I.D.
@ GR - I think it takes a few days for it to upload to the game. I'm unsure of that though. :unsure:

You need to make sure you are changing your FIFA avatar as well and not the web on like I did!!

I got the game on the 360, and I'm really enjoying it so far. Be a pro mode is great. The only thing that's bothering me is that it's quite difficult, if not impossible to score from far out. But all in all I'm very impressed. PES has it all to do now.
If you go to Attributes in the Edit player section, I'm pretty sure you can change the stats. I don't think you're able to boost their overall rating, if you want to increase one stat, you'll have to decrease another stat.

I love how Quaresma does his trademark outside of the boot passes & shots. Rooney even tried to do a Rabona one two which looked brilliant even if it got cut out.
