Quick survey:

Are you people playing in boring-tele view or awesome dynamic view?

The game is 100x better in dynamic view - set height: max, zoom: min. It makes the game so refreshing and much mroe interesting, plus it looks MUCH better.

If you don't play in dynamic view, play about 10 games then try and go back to tele view - its so boring in tele. Granted, it will take you a few games to adjust, but it is WELL worth it when you get into the new angle.

I agree but that is just based on the demo. At least they make smart subsitutions now.

Heading & one-on-one's are terrible in this game.

I can only hit the target with headers about 1 in 10 shots!

one-on-one's, the keepers are practically invincible, finding it very hard to score them unless I go around the keeper.


Also, anyone had a problem with the weather? If I select snow & night it isn't snowing but instead raining...odd

Heading is definitely a low point. I scored quite a towering in off the bar effort the other day, but on most occasions I've missed from about 3 yards out.

I also heard a tannoy announcement during one game saying how racism would not be tolerated, and that offenders would be removed from the stadium. I'm guessing the home support must have got a bit nasty.

EA's annual footie franchise must be doing something right this year because FIFA 10 has apparently sold 1.7 million copies in Europe during its first week. According to EA, the title is "the fastest selling sports game ever and EA's biggest European launch in history."

Even with the positive launch, GI.biz spoke with an analyst who believes the sales aren't going to help EA in the long-term. Doug Creutz of Cowan and Company notes that heavy discounts at supermarket chains and other incentives made initial sales strong, but if the situation plays out anything like FIFA 09, the year-on-year sales will only grow marginally. But like a head-butt goal in the first minutes of a match, FIFA 10 is putting on a good show during launch.

Is it just me or will the live season trial thing not download for anybody else? It keeps saying it's not available at this time and to try again later..Was there a time limit to try it out or something?

Haven't tried online yet as my connection is on the fritz at the moment and won't last long enough for me to even get a match nevermind play one.

There's a thing on the news bar at the bottom saying that they've stopped Live Season for a while, probably maintenance.
