Just had an awful game against a mate, I was Spurs and he was Birmingham (we pressed Randomise). Everything that could go wrong, went wrong and I lost 5-3. Spurs were terrible, from uncontrolled passing, sloppy defending, laughable goalkeeping and poor hold up play from Crouch. I sometimes get the feeling it's programmed for me to lose certain matches and this was no exception. My friend's first goal saw him closing in on goal at an angle with my goalkeeper Gomes onrushing, his striker (Phillips) side footed the ball for which Gomes spread himself but done so in the wrong direction and dived to cover his far post leaving the near and middle of the goal free. His second goal came from a crossed ball, which Dawson went to header, only for it to somehow slide off of his face and drop suddenly to the floor of which Phillips was on hand to slot in of course.

Combine this with Gareth Bale being a poor player statistically on the game, Gomes performing like a Sunday league goalkeeper and obviously misplaced passing (with only some being my fault in the second half). Urgh, makes me want to throw a fit and I rarely get annoyed with games now.

Anyone fancy setting up a tournament/league on the PS3?

Everyone plays each other twice. Teams could be randomised or everyone picks a team that finished in the top 4 anywhere in Europe, or whatever.

I really hope FIFA 11 uses common sense in the menus. If I'm editing kit numbers for England, for starters I don't want to have to go to each player and edit them via that menu (the Manager Mode menu is fine), and I sure as hell don't want to be pushed back to the Premier league list when I save my work for the single player, and have to crawl back through the excruciatingly slow menus back to England.

I also don't want to be forced back to the arena when I cancel out of a new tournament. I pressed new tournament by mistake, I wanted to create on instead, so when I press B I don't want to watch all this load up into a scenario where I shouldn't be placed. Take me to the menu I just came from, it makes much more sense.

Good point. I also hope that they change the way when you are transferring players from club-to-club. Currently, if you want to do transfers, you have to select the team - select player - select the new team. If you want to do another one from different team, you have to exit, and do all it all over again.

Yeah, PES has everything editing related down to a tee; features, simplicity and it's actually fun. Another thing I've noticed is that FIFA's menus have been recycled from FIFA 08 (and possibly 07?), and I can't help but feel that they're basing the content in the game like the likes of edit mode, around the menus, and are afraid to give them an overhaul, which would allow at least the simplicity factor of PES to be implemented into FIFA's editing
