I agree about the lack of decent LB's in Serie A. I've been saving up to get Taiwo but he goes for about 10-12k whereas a similar player at RB e.g. Abate only goes for about 2k. I'd love to get an IF Nagatomo at some point but he goes for about 35-40k.

Thanks for trading me Abbiati, Abate and Zarate by the way Xliv. They've been very useful players for me and have helped me strengthen my squad.

Pace in defence is vital! Pretty much everyone I face plays 3 quick forwards and plays the same way - looking for the through ball, without thinking about it. The number of times I've had to face Agbonlahor is disgusting. If the defence didn't always play so high up, I wouldn't mind.

How are coaches used? I've bought a few GK coaches, but I can't see how I can apply their abilities. Do you just add them to the squad and that's it?

I believe you need to buy the development cards i.e. reflexes +10 then if your GK coach has reflexes 10% your GK will get a +11 boost instead. The more coaches you have, the bigger the boost. Works the same way with managers. The managers can even have nothing left on their contract and their % boost for contracts or team talks will still be in effect.

If you're looking for a decent, pacy centre back try Santacroce. I'm going to draft him back into my first team, even though his overall stats are worse than the other options I have available, purely because of his pace.

pace in defence is essential. And you are so right Dragonfly, there are so many Pace abusers who use Agbonlahor. I find that there is only so much u can do really, I generally manually control a midfielder to run back once am not with with the ball to help out at the back. More numbers back there they are forced to go wide.

I was playing against the CPU - drawing 0-0 - when all of a sudden after about 60 minutes I got disconnected. 30 seconds later I signed in again to discover I had been awarded no coins, my players had all used up 1 contract and my player who had an injury lasting 1 match prior to the disconnected match was still injured! Why on earth can't you play UT matches against the CPU offline then send the data online after the match?

I hate this. I kept on getting booted out of FUT, at the semi-final. I'd be battering the CPU, with a few minutes left, but I would get nothing out of it. I got bored of FUT in FIFA11 after a week, but I admit this time round has been better. Better, but still falls short.
