Got Barrios the other day in a pack :smug: He is a quality player man.

Can anyone tell me how the contracts work? Does a player lose one number everytime he plays a game? Do people on your bench lose a number just for being on the bench during a game? If this is the case is it not just better to not make subs at all?

I think so. When I made a sub, he lost a game on his contract but all the other subs stayed the same. So I've made none since.

Haribo is spot on.

Nor will they lose a game off their contract if you play your second or third squad. That said, their injuries won't reduce, either.

I created a gold EPL team, on scraps (about 350-500 spent on each player other than Defoe (1,200)).

GK - Begovic

CAM - Taarabt
ST - Defoe
ST - Bentdner

Subs include Cudicini, Long, Odemwingie, Cabaye, Murphy and Holden.

Did anyone find out what all these new colours mean? Also, is there a guide to all the previous types you could get? I understand the black and gold In Form players but what are the solid gold/silver players about? They were in the last game but I never worked out what made them special.

Is that in reference to my question about the new colours or about the solid silver/gold players? The orange is apparently just as Bammers said, for players who were Man of the Match and I've heard rumours that some of the others will be related to Euro 2012 and the Olympics.

I recently started playing this and have aimed to create a team with Eastern European players and Mihajlovic is the manager.

The first thing I noticed was the number of people that have gone for Brazilian squads, playing 4-3-1-2, with the front three being ridiculously quick forwards. If not Brazilian, they'll definitely have Doumbia.

My first XI:

GK: Ryzhikov
RCB: Ignashevich
LCB: Subotić
RB: Anyukov
LB: Kadlec
RDM: Kuzmanovic
LDM: Cana
RAM: Izmailov
LAM: Pjanic
CF: Ilicic
ST: Matri

A couple of questions:

- What's the benefit of 'rare' players? Do they do anything standard players can't do?

- Is it possible for your playes to be improved permanently? I've used development cards that last one game, but I was wondering whether players could develop "naturally" over time.

I think the rare players are just more valuable when it comes to trading and I don't think players can develop permanently, just for a specific number of games. I've only just started playing Ultimate Team over the last month so it's all still a little bit new to me too.

I have a 4-2-3-1 Serie A team at the moment:

Been playing FUT for a bit now
Rare players are more valuable and usually have a standout ability e.g pace, defence, or they are really good all rounders. Phatmann right theres no player development, the used to be in the very frist FUT, but by mid way through the year everyone like had 99 on all attributes, so they scraped that.

I have got a 4-3-1-2 Serie A team with a few outsiders at the moment:

GK: Stekelnburg (85)
RCB: Chiellini IF (86)
LCB: Thiago Silva (87)
RB: Maicon (85)
LB: Nagatomo IF (81) - (there seems to be a lack of good left backs in Serie A)
CM: Pirlo IF (85)
CM: Cambiasso (85) (one of the highly underpriced players in the game)
CM: Sneijder (88)
CF: Jovetic IF (84) ( a must buy at any,non-IF and IF (83), and non-IF is cheap :) )
ST: Ibrahimovic (88)
ST: aguero (88) ( one of my non-Serie A players, when Pato just doesn't do the job)

I bought them, I pick some of them up at a good price.
Besides none of them are like 88 rated IF and above, those are like 300k and above.
