It's one paced. The 'skills moves' on the right stick are just awful. They look awful and don't achieve anything. The game, in the way it plays and looks, reminds me strongly of the 1st iteration of the Club Football game (I've not played the 2nd version). The only slight improvement over last year is that you get the odd one-on-one with the keeper, which never happened with Fifa 2005, but even then shooting is still a lottery.
Definatley don't bother - It's a step back for Fifa, as if that was possible

Got it today i think its well good carer mode is superb gameplay is good. it means more now when you score a goal GREAT GAME!!!

I have actually cooped up something highly interesting here, many views form many FIFA fans from there 'Forum'. And I have to say they are quite the honest bunch.

The first page is probably the best I'd say, that took me about 15-25 minutes maximum. It really depends on how quick you read but I was reading fairly slow as I wanted to take in all the joy of seeing quite a few FIFA fans turn on their once beloved game developer.

i've read some of that forum mate, and most people are right!! finally coming to there senses!
played fifa 06 for the 1st time today, and i must say i was pleasently surprised. not as bad as i thought it would be, but maybe thats because i was playing multiplayer and smashing all of my mates! (we all play pro religiously btw, just we all grew up playing fifa and only really play it now out of nostalgia and tradition!) i still have a feeling though that the faults generally come out when playing vs the computer and thats when i'll end up hating 06!
