the game is ok but on i have it for ps2 and basically theres no change from fifa07, the passing is shite, but the new one player feature is ok could be alot better but nice stuff, will not beat pes2008. doesnt even shine a light to it. cant wait till pes is out, but i mean fifa is and always will be a months fill in for pes.

The only and I mean only good thing with Fifa is you can be Argyle but the fact that they have never seen Argyle play or even know the players proper names or hair colours renders this feature fairly pap. The great thing with PES is that what licenses they do have they spend time and effort on, fucking daft Fifa.

I've just downloaded the demo and found it pretty decent if I'm being honest, I'll take the game for what it is, I'm not going to slag it off just because it's Fifa and say Pro is going to be miles better etc

Probably going to end up buying this, as it will be nice to play on a footy game that actually does have some decent features on it for a change, gameplay wasn't bad as well.

I was going to buy this on the 360 on Friday, good job I waited because my mates xbox died Saturday so whilst his is gone he said I can borrow Fifa, saves me £40, gives me enough time to get bored of it and just another game to play before pes!

This is the bit that I still truly like though.

The data gets updated on a 24/7 basis throughout the year. Our editors are dedicated football supporters and they follow their teams and leagues every single day. We use an online database that they log in to and update the team and player data. This enables us to have constantly updated information and evaluations that reflect the real world. So when we notice that a player is performing better or worse than originally evaluated the database is edited to reflect the changing status of that player.

The same goes for the appearance of the players: if David Beckham gets a new look from his hairdresser, our editors go into the database and select his new hair style right away. All these changes happen frequently so the community of database researchers are always busy adjusting and tuning the ratings and rankings.

I downloaded the demo and personally couldn't get into it. I had more fun playing around on the roam menu with Ronaldinho at the start.

The wii version is also poor.

Someone else tell me a little bit more about the 360 version and where would you guys rate this game from 1-10. Sorry for all the questions but I can't get the game till next week and I wanna hear some reviews about it.

Loved how when I was versing the Mackems with the Toon earlier on Andy Gray talked about North East football being a hotbed and he actually described it as Geordies versus Mackems. :)

So if I played as Milan he'd drone on and on like he does in real life about us being too old and only wanting to get a 1-0? Nice

He'd get a shock when I get thumped 6-0 then :w00t

I'd say it's an 8 if you play it properly. By properly I mean changing the passing, shooting, crossing etc to manual, this makes it very annoying and it's a challenge to score like this even on semi-pro, but I like a challenge and that's what keeps me coming back to this game. On previous FIFAs, you just pressed "pass" and the ball was at your striker's feet, if you play like I then every pass is crucial, and when you do get a chance, if you miss it makes your more determined to score the next one and if you score it makes you feel smug cos it actually takes a lot of effort to create and score. :smug:

Just played me first online game and managed to secure a 1-0 win over some punk who picks Barca when I pick Newcastle, was all over him as well.

Martins is class on this game as well, runs like him n everything. :w00t

Really getting into this game now, still not used to everything of course, such as controls, set pieces etc, also struggling to score but that will come I have no doubt.

Taking me time to get used to the slower gameplay as well, but it does seem to play more realistic though. I am liking the fact that the game doesn't seem as scripted as Pro Evo, as you know in certain scenarios that the ball is going in no matter what etc but this doesn't appear to be the case so far.
