GTA IV might be scheduled to be released on the 360 and PS3 at the same time, but it seems that Microsoft has managed to secure some exclusive content that is to be released via Xbox Live!

In a recent X06 announcement today, the content will be available a short time after the game is initially released in two "chapters." Each chapter is said to contain approximately 10+ hours of gameplay with new and unique content not accessible through the standard version of the game.

The release date is set for North America on Oct. 16 and Europe on Oct. 19. As of this announcement there is no scheduled release date for the episodic content.

I hate waiting for the GTA games to be released, they give you the date like 10 months before it's out! You know it's gonna be one of the best games ever yet you've got all those months to wait while they slip you little screenshots every now and then.......teasing bastards!

yea i think itll be modern settings. And the fact they give us the release date about 10month prior to release is just brilliant marketing. because they know GTA has a LOT of fans and it keeps them on the edge of their toes waiting for every single update until its released.

Last GTA game to come out onto XBOX and PS2 will be the Vice City Stories which if you have played the PSP version I'm sure will not be a buy :tongue:

1900's would suck ass...it'd be like playing The Godfather or Mafia(just for the fact of the shitty cars) ... I wana see one thats set in present time. As for the London idea, I reckon it'd be good if maybe the mini levels or something were from a totally different city in 'America' ..like instead of Carcer City it was more of a New York feel or L.A. etc.

Rockstar have already said they aren't releasing a port of Vice City Stories. Solely concentrating on GTA 4 (in terms of GTA).

Another good Rockstar game coming up is L.A. Noire. One to check out.
