I hope people aren't going to start slating an incomplete game, again. I'll be buying PES 2010 and FIFA10, but this could be the last time I get PES if there is no improvement in gameplay.

I'm not too bothered with the graphics. If it's like PES 2009, that'll do. If the gameplay isn't going to be as realistic as FIFA09, they should at least make it fun to play, like the earlier games. Something I really wish they would bring back is the Simulation Mode (I think it's called) from the very first ISS.

Every preview off FIFA10 I've read thus far is going crazy how wonderful 360 degrees movement feels and how it makes the game play way different and adds depth. Plus Fifa has had a complete manager mode overhaul this year. Konami better wow me before FIFA10 hits the stores otherwise I'm going over to the darkside.

:no: I can't agree. From ps2 onwards pes always won in graphics. But I agree about gameplay. It's top priority.
Also don't be sure that 8 directional movement will return. I hope they won't but still no word on them so.......

what they need to do is fix the problems and improve the gameplay like the directional movemts fifa has gone a long way with its 360 moements while pes has still got 8 directions and if they dont have more this year fans will be disapointed once again like if the online gamply isnt fixed then konami again will disapoint us i think the game looks promiseing and i will buy it along with fifa 2010 but if it hasnt made drastic improvemts from pes 2009 then i think a serious load of pes fans will wash there hands with the game

I dont agree cause i 'm sure the players in pes 09 looks much better and more realistic, than Fifa 09. The Stadiums are definately better in Fifa though.

I agree. I don't understand why some people think fifa has better graphics. Take a close up of PES players and FIFA players. I think its clear that PES wins. Also, I believe PES has more liscenced players. Furthermore, gameplay is my main concern as well. Improve this, and I don't think anyone will be hearing much more complaining from me.

Well said, IMO FIFA players look plasticy and weird looking. Not sure if you are if PES has more licensed players though... :)

yeh pes faces win by a mile fifas dont look right for some reason and i think pes have more licenced because all the national teams that r licenced all the players have a real face so i hope it continutes in 2010

guys, watch the trailer carefully, you'll see the defenders pulling the same crap again.

Pause the teaser just as messi makes the incisive run and beats the defender: torres is walking in the background like the game's over.

In the next shot, Torres is to Messi's right?? (Ok fine, excusable, bad editing, no biggie)

Pause just as Mesis kicking the ball. You see Riera in the background stopping his run, lol. I cant count how many times in Pes 08 and 09 I've been pissed because my defense randomly stops making runs even while the opposite team is still making the run.

And of course you have Torres sliding at the end. All Messi has to do is cancel the shot to do a fake and there you have the foul tackle and maybe the penalty.

This looks too familiar. God damn, I hope Pes 2010 isnt as stupid as I'm expecting it to be.

Ya, them videos are not the be all and end all.

But I have to say usually there are more detailed, I think i remember seeing a 7min trailer for PES 5 i think, with full details on improvement.

Movements and everything look exactly like pes 09 , im not saying this might not show the real gameplay and the real game might be different as we might see in the later footage of gameplay but as far as what they have showed us so far... (The trailer) it looks same old same old.

^I didn't even consider that teaser. Remember the pes 6 opening cutscene? It was really bad. But the game was really good. So we can't judge so far.
