Another thing that has disappointed me of recent editions of pes. Is the crowd sound effects. In the past we had the dutch with their brass bands. the south americans with their samba beat. I can't remember the rest.
But the fans used to get excited at important points in the game.

But seriously, Konami have to step up. I traded in my PES 2009 recently because of the niggly little things that happened too often! Like the auto slides that result in a card or missing an open goal from 4yrds out and getting a corner for it? :erm: (Yes that has happened to me)

The graphics are good though. Gameplay like PES 5 would be good :blush:

Someone tell me if that's chalk on Eto'o's (<Is that right?) head or just bad lighting effects? Maybe players get mud on them after a slide tackle?

This is really amazing, i am banned for being honest on WE blog. it seems they can't handle the fact that pes has been shit the last two years. Even when they say someone will be monitoring the boards we have to lie about the game, that Adam guy is full of shit, will do anything to get some info from Konami, not like Suff who has an own opinion. Konami needs to get real. and those saying it's all about gameplay , well 2008 and 2009 were both ugly and didn't had any gameplay. in our house we play pes 6 the last couple of years. Maybe something Konami should realize.

In my opinion they need to sort out the gameplay big time! Goalkeepers overhaul! Defense overhaul! AI overhaul!!

Seriously, if they did that alone, peeps would start buying it like crazy! But they make those mistakes amongst 100's of other one being menu's! Seems like they can't get anything right!

In my opinion if they have got sooo much wrong in 2009 why is there any reason for them to make 2010 'GREAT'! I can't see it! But I'll wait!

the grpahics look ok but the if u otice in the pictures of the other players they all still look like there doing the same thing with the same movements and players shorts look the same and tucked in te shirts on torres and shit i hope its not though in the acually game

I posted this comment on the main page of our website and if anyone saw this, I want you to COMPLETELY FORGET EVERYTHING YOU READ. After a closer look at the new screenshots, I have to say that I've completely fallen in love with the new PES graphics. Nevertheless, this is not my main concern. Although, I can not tell from the video, but if “8-directional movement" still appears in the game, then I’ve lost all hope for future coming installments of the series. In conclusion, I see only one negative from the trailer. Furthermore, the 8-directional movement still has not been confirmed yet and, unlike most, I’m very much excited for this game to be released.

Torres' skin is much better than in 09. BTW he was so great in comparison with real life in pes 09 so you can't expect big improvements. But his hair and skin really are better.
I noticed that these new lighting effects are much better at night than in daylight shots.

^Well Man utd were licensed in pes 6 and pes 2009 (1 year gap). I think it's fair to license liverpool again because they were never licensed in pes before (except for 2009).

Liverpool will be licensed till about PES2013...they have some 4 year deal with them or something. There was actually a PES2009 version with a LIVERPOOL cover.

yeah yeah the graphics are great..but what else? fifa's graphics were always far superior but no-one thought that was a good game. The point I'm trying to make is that if graphics is the only thing that will get a major overhaul then PES2010 will be a massive dissapointment.

I couldn't care less about the graphics. I want to see gameplay.

And it seems as if 8 direction movement returns...well that sucks.

Every preview off FIFA10 I've read thus far is going crazy how wonderful 360 degrees movement feels and how it makes the game play way different and adds depth. Plus Fifa has had a complete manager mode overhaul this year. Konami better wow me before FIFA10 hits the stores otherwise I'm going over to the darkside.

Doesn't show enough to warrant the word "trailer". This is a teaser trying to cram too much in! Disappointing release. The screenshots show a lot of promise though.
