Nope, database size doesn't matter too much to be honest. Its just if you do it on large its to your advantage to sign the good little players.

I've only played about two DAYS worth so far, won't get time tonight, am doing overtime tomorrow and have the Milan game on Sunday night and Smallville on Monday. It'll be a miracle if I get anywhere near finishing a season by next Thursday.

Only played 4 games, won 3, drew 1! Fucking amazing form. :cool:

My signings are the key factors though as I managed to make about 4m all together out of selling players to get em'. :)

Good plan, the only player i would keep is Arca the left back.
How is everyones strikers getting on they look preety useless to me.

Well the strikers are so useless that, from what I was looking at, the one I thought to be the "best" was the one my assistant manager ranks as the worst.

Arca looks great, and one or two others look good, but that's about it.

I agree. You need to strengthen pretty much almost every area of the field, minus a few such as Lawerence, Arca, Davis etc.

Lawrence isn't even a starter for me. I've made some great additions, though I say so myself, and have won 3 out of 3 friendlies, however I know I'll crash and burn when the real season starts.

EDIT: In my final pre-season friendly, my new star striker has scored 4 and it's only half time. :)

My striker is the top scorer with 4 in 3(1) in the Premiership despite me playing him in attacking midfield. My other has 2 in 4 Prem games and Elliot and Stead are just complete shite, haven't impressed me at all.

Not doing to bad, got a couple of good oldies and a few youngsters but seeing as it's only a season I don't think it's worth investing in young players.

Sold one of my young strikers to Rangers for just over £3 million.

Not going to say who I've bought, but I'm quietly confident I'll achieve a decent position in the league. A bit gutted that Billy Jones picked Southampton over me.

Following games were Arsenal and Chelsea both away. :(

During the International break 3 of my main players including the 2 top scorers have suffered long term injuries for about 3 months and others team players injured for weeks, which of course, didn't help.

Anyway, I managed a respectable 2-2 draw with Arsenal, Lawerence missing a penalty and Arsenal scoring in the 87th minute. :(

Chelsea was not so good, their new signing Ronaldo scored 2 as I lost 5-2, although the score didn't reflect the match as we played well and kept it at 2-2 for the majority of the game.

Heres to hoping my physios work miracles and get my star players back to full fitness. Was in 1st place but now I'm probably in around 5th with 3 wins, 2 draws and a loss.

I'm still in pre-season revolutionising my team.

I was going for a 23-year-old striker when in stepped Borussia Moenchengladbach, Real Madrid and AC Milan. It was between the four of us. He went to Germany, the shit. Now I've found another, and Eintracht Frankfurt and Auxerre have quickly moved in too.

EDIT: Oh pants, my first league game (Tottenham at home) just snuck up on me. Time to roll your sleeves up lads! It's going to be a longer season than the one Sunderland are having for real...

EDIT 2: (And remember I've not played in the Premiership and don't watch much either) only five substitutes?! What a farce!
